The request returned the following error:
Exception from service object: Invalid authorization key: zEk1J7XXXXXXXXXT%2BzqxZYfiVgjjBV3Biii

(note i put some XXXXXXX's in my key so it couldn't be stolen)

Getting this error, even signed up for a brand new key - same result.

That error is coming from Google directly, so... although the %2B in there makes me think it was entered wrong (that looks like an URL encoded character to me).

Hmmmm... can you confirm in your API email that it had the %2B in there?

The api key in the preferences is

    zEk1J1xQFHJ6T+zqxZYfiVgjjBV3Biii

    The error i get is

The request returned the following error:
Exception from service object: Invalid authorization key: zEk1J1xQFHJ6T%2BzqxZYfiVgjjBV3Biii

The plus '+' sign seems to be messing it up :(

If it helps my username is 'FMG'

(note i changed a couple of letters so noone can use my key, but i only changed numbers for numbers and letters for letters.)

What browser are you using to enter your APY key? Does it show as a + when you look on the preferences page?

Are you using the advanced usage script by chance? If so, try removing it from your preferences real quick and see if it works without using it (just to see if maybe it's something on the server the script is being hosted on).

Well that might have answered the q.

I'm hosting the advanced script at http://www.jamroll.co.uk/dpkwscript.php

all jamroll.co.uk requests are being forwarded to jamroll.net

Needless to say i changed this and it started working.
