The recession and clickbank products....what are the best ones to sell now?

So I am JUST getting into promoting clickbank products.
I am so new to this and am "walking blind" into it.

Right now I am promoting the 3 most popular weight loss products.

What products do you think will do better during this recession. Sales on the internet seem to be doing okay for the recession.

My goal is to simply make around 1000 a month. I am doing article marketing to gain some money for PPC.

    Thanks for the help guys!

Some guides aren't affected by recession such as weight loss, acne, panic attacks etc. They are ever green.

What about the very popular earth4energy? Would stuff like that be affected by the recession?

I believe the majority of 'fix your life with this miracle ebook' products are like this. I haven't seen any real negatives yet. Perhaps entertainment products are the ones being hit? I don't know because I don't promote them but it seems that extras would be cut from your budget before problem solvers.

Agree. Always go for desperation niches. This is why health niches are so good.

"Money saving" sites are probably good. Anything that saves the customer money in the long run, even if the upfront cost is substantial. That's why "home energy" stuff is booming - because for a small one time fee you can permanently lower your monthly bills.

I've got something coming out in this niche soon ("money saving"). Next month probably. Should be a big hit if we're lucky, heh :)

I think "desperate buyers" remain desperate even during a recession. Plenty of good advice above. :)

I would suggest products related to relationship niche. Check it out and you will find the those products usually have high gravity.

Yes, the Wii related sites are still selling well. This is surprising as you wouldn`t think that "luxury" products would sell well at a time like this.

Forget about the recession. It affects online sales only little. Amazon's Christmas record sales are perfect proof + Clickbank's gravity raise.

Now fat loss is hot, forex and green products.

There is good money to be made in so many niches right now. January has always been a good month for me with online sales, often the best month. One of my products, Free Energy Options, got very slow early november through the month of December but right after Chrstmas sales have been picking up very swiftly. I've been selling about 10 copies a day myself and affiliates have been increasing as well.

I have also done well in smaller niches as well. I like to test with PPC before jumping into articles. For me, articles are a lot of work from which you may see no return.

Best of luck in this upcoming year bro.

Think back to Marketing 101. Any product that you can market in a way to trigger an emotional response will sell. Cowsgonemadd3 if your new to promoting stick to products that you would buy or are very passionate about. This way you will find it easier to promote the product in a way to get that emotional response. If you wanted my pick i would say products that save money around the home or health products.

Befroe you choose a product read the sales page and ask yourself if it looks professional/legit and would you buy it yourself. That will tell you if you should promote it.

As people get let go from work or they see that they won't be getting a bonus check or commissions get cut from their job, they turn to trying to find ways to make extra money.

Historically, during times of recession home based businesses business and network marketing seem to thrive.

So my answer is - Make money products.

I am in the Forex space and have seen the Forex industry boom. Brokers are hiring all across the country and more and more people are wanting to learn how to trade.

I am a newbie with a brand new product. But we will see how it goes.
