There are many methods of making money on the internet - blogging, SEO, email marketing, social media marketing to name a few and they all work. However, they all also require considerable time and effort. They involve learning new skills and can involve considerable expense. One of the major reasons, if not THE major reason why people fail to earn any money online is because they are always chasing the newest shiny object. The majority of budding online entrepreneurs are looking for something that doesn’t exist, the ‘overnight millionaire’ get rich scheme. They buy one internet marketing product after another, spend a few weeks on each (maybe), make no money from any of them and then buy another one. How many of us are guilty of this? How many of us have purchased products and never done anything with them? Don’t make the same mistake this year. When trying to build your business in 2015 focus on building skills and gaining experience. Get away from information overload. Concentrate on one skill which excites you the most and then get good at it. Generally the more you enjoy something, the much more likely you are to study more and gain expertise in that area. Stop buying internet marketing products that promise quick riches and focus on a skill. If you go and bounce from one idea to another you will get nowhere. Don’t plan a 6 figure empire from scratch. Focus on one thing, one skill at a time. This could be creating a squeeze page, creating a product or starting Facebook advertising. Think SMALL and concentrate on getting one thing done at a time.
Information overload can be a major reason why most people fail at it. Giving up is also a factor. Being successful at internet marketing isn't overnight. It could take quite some time to start making money. Once you do make money then stick to whatever you were doing and find ways to EXPAND on it.
I can't agree more, when I started online, this was the biggest problem I had to deal with.... Another reason is that people are failing, in my opinion, is that they don't have that much motivation to succeed so they try a bit, use 30% of the courses/products they bought and just quit...
