Going viral is not the only way to be a video marketing winner! A lot of people forget to talk about the other way to use videos... Why would you want to risk so much going viral when you can simply ride the waves of other peoples success? The majority of YouTube posters only post their videos to YouTube. So you will definetally need to take advantage of that and post the videos you are going to accumulate from this method to several video sites. In the long run it will be a whole lot more views and a lot more pages on the search engine rankings. But before you go out just stealing everybody's videos I want to show you how to do all of this legally. It is so simple it is stupid however lots of people overlook how easy this can be. This is how I get hundreds of youtube users to give me permission to use their videos in any way that I feel. Are you ready? Ask them. I find that it is super easy to just spam their comments. There is software out there that can do this for you. Just do a search for "youtube spamer" "youtube poster" and I am sure you will be able to find something. This step is not to tedious though and just takes a few clicks and the occasional CAPTCHA. Simply ask them "Great video! I was wondering if I could for promotional purposes? The video and credit for it would still be yours.". When you do this make sure you make an account that you plan on getting banned. It might not get banned however you will get an infraction or two. But in the next couple of days you will get lots of people responding. Some will just say outright that you can use it and others will ask to be credited or even get a link to the video. Just make sure that you save the messages in case somebody does try and come back at you. However I have never had anybody say I was stealing their videos. Now that you have a bunch of videos that you can use freely you will net to get them on your computer so that you can water mark them or insert title and closing screens. If someone asked to be credited simply put a mention of them on the opening / title screen. There are lots of ways to go and download the videos. There are quite a few websites that will do it for free. However you will get them in a .flv format. This makes it difficult to edit and you will have to go and get a little app to do the conversion for you. Simply do a search for "flv to avi converter" "video flv avi converter" and similar things. You should be able to find a few programs that are for free. Now that you have your videos you will need to go and brand them. Either with a watermark or opening and closing frames. I suggest getting a copy of Cam Studio or something similar. There are a number of other programs that will do the same thing and probably do not cost anything. So just do a search for "video watermark software" "video branding software" or similar searches. The 3 above steps (download, convert, brand) are probably the most tedious steps in the process. However it does not have to be. This is how I download, convert, and brand videos all in one step. It literally cuts the time to do all this by 3/4. For example lets say the three steps that I mentioned above done on 20 videos might take up 4 or so hours of your time. This is a little bit of time to put in but doing it that way would simply be foolish. Affiliate Video Brander is the quickest way to do the three above steps and with just one piece of software. It downloads the videos for you, converts them and brands them for you. All you have to do is tell it what video to make yours... It is time to start uploading your videos. Only this time we are going to take advantage of what the original poster most likely missed. We are going to key word optimize the videos first. Chose the phrase that you want to target as long as the video relates to the subject you will get people to watch it. Simply use your keyword phrase in the subject, tags, description, etc... so you can get the better search rankings. After all this method does not work on getting hundreds of thousands of views from one of your videos going viral. It is quite possible that this could happen. However what we want to do is cover the most ground. Essentially getting more of your share of the traffic and high search engine rankings to boot. Of course we will want to automate the task of uploading your videos to the various websites on the Internet. You could do all of this by hand but it would be more of a pain that you could imagine. So follow this advice and you will not get caught wasting days making a video that will most likely be a failure. Instead of wasting your time making a video that could easily take a day to produce you could have 100 videos in your niche with your website written all over them. No to mention the search engine rankings you can get for videos on a keyword string that does not have one yet. After all post one video to 10 sites and each of your videos will have 10 chances to land on the front page for your search terms.
