This is why the other candidates laugh at Ron Paul when he starts talking about the Fed. They don't want people to look into it. http://www.americanchronicle.com/articles/viewArticle.asp?articleID=39040 BTW, he forgot Andrew Napolitano on the list of Vice Presidential candidates.
I stopped reading after the first paragrah because the author doesn't know what he is talking about. The primary cause of the American Revolution was taxation, which England wanted to tax the people of the U.S. Colonies just like they taxed British citizens to help pay for the war wage against the French and the Indians in the interest of the U.S. Colonist. If he can't get the basic understand of the cause of the US Revolution what right does he have to call the Federal Reserve Evil Doers.
You are incorrect. The colonies were not allowed to circulate their own currency (Colonial Scrip), because the King demanded all taxes had to be paid in Gold. This was what prompted the Revolution.
Right because the Stamp Act, and the Townshend Act which then prompted the Boston Tea Party were all about gold, not taxing colonist without representation.
Soniq, I am happy to help enlighten you today. Tis a shame you haven't read the History of Money PDF I have linked here several times. I think you would really enjoyed it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colonial_Scrip
