    Yes, many webmaster here are doing it.

    Like when someone ask about parking a domain, I say, is better to design a good site and start to sell text links :)

    Actually this less hit and miss than you think, I don't work and haven't worked in years, I pay for college and everything else doing the exact same thing, buiding simple sites, raising PR and traffic, generating some revenue and then selling it off.
