PC my whole life. Has anyone gotten a good grip on Windows 7? Compared to Mac's Snow Leopard, there was very little fanfare for the release.

I use several PCs, running XP and/or Linux (Ubuntu/EasyPeasy).

I had a Mac SE in the early 90s. It was great. But I can't understand why anyone would buy a new Mac. I simply don't get it. They don't even look nice anymore, which is the main reason that people buy them right? :p

Macs are over-priced for what you get; you're paying mostly for the image, not the hardware. Personally, I've built every computer that I own so I'm obviously a PC fan.

Macs are good if you using them for a firm or job.But if you need to work with many different sorts of pgoramms and functionally then you won't come around buying xp or vista.I got myself linux max and windows 7 and i use mainly seven and the others only for some jobs^^.

If you got a PC, maybe a laptop you can install of sort of programs on it, many of them free. Mac has to main disadvantages the price and is inflexible. I believe Mac is more stable, but if you got a PC u have lots of restore/backup programs.

A mac is more stable but as mentioned above by asdirc the software is way too expensive compared to the thounsands free and open source programmes of windows.
