On topic, I'm not sure the question for america is about how much more will be spent or lives wasted....I think the question is "Are we going to support a war on terror for the rest of our lives?", because this war is not going away anytime soon...

Why don't we just say? Let's lieve others who don't hurt us alone. There was not such a mess in Iraq before Bush's agression on Iraq. Now there are more terrorists or whatever they call them then ever in Iraq. And they keep growing. So how does the use of Force helps anybody, if things are getting worse? This is as simple as 1+1=2 for me.
