Hello all, After fiddling around with a few blogs, learning the basics, I’ve started three blogs I’m going to concentrate on. I’m not sure how much time to spend per day, how long I should make my posts, or how to get enough coverage to get a decent number of clicks, but I’m hoping this forum might be a little bit of help ïŠ Anyhow, the blogs are in my sig, and one which might get fairly big is the Blogging for Adsense, blog, which I’ll add to, as I gain knowledge. Since I started playing round with blogging, I’ve made $4.92, I’m hoping to make this per day, per blog at some point! Achievable…I doubt it, but I’ll give it a go! Thanks for listening, any input appreciated
Might work but I still think the best way is to blog about something you are passionate about and you'll draw in people who are also passionate about your subject. Those are the people that will click ads. It takes time though to build up a good site which means it will take time to build up the adsense. The blogging for adsense site will probably do the worst of the three because everyone and their brother has a similar site languishing somewhere on the net.
Yeh, i see what you mean there, i love sport, my passion is motocross, which i did start a blog about, but most of my post's would be better suited in the sports blog anyway.
I've been keeping up with my blog for 9 months now. I finally get around 100-150 uniques per day (80% from Google search). It's still low... but it's much better from the 5-20 when I first started. $4-$5 per day? Possible, but I'm still working towards that. I'm at around $1-$2. My highest was $7. (This blog isn't the only site I have.)
I would focus on a motocross blog then. If it's something you're interested in you'll always have something to say and you'll be more apt to keep posting. It will definitely take some time to grow the blog and readership but once people start coming and see you are into it and provided you keep a steady supply of good content coming it will be a win win situation instead of another abandoned blog in the blogosphere.
