Besides you, who does that actually benefit on a webmaster forum? It become seriously annoying that each of the recent pages of this thread are half filled with blatant self serving advertisements and not useful resources. It wouldn't be so bad but most of the services are not creative or original in any way - just cookie cutter replicas of what's already out there. Yes, people can see through your shallow attempts at strategically placed self promotion.
I'm thinking about having a glype control panel developed. Which I might release... I'm no php dev so I have to pay out the ass to get it made
I would be interested in that Psychost, I have also been thinking about developing one. Let me know how you do, I think it would be very popular!
Just wanted to say congratulations to our member asantha who won our free proxy hosting raffle Stay tuned because more goodies will come soon
I'm preparing to launch a new network.... So far I have the list site up and running (feel free to post stuff. it'll auto-send to facebook and twitter) http://allmyproxies.com/index.php Once its done and set I also have someone working on a glype control panel to run the whole thing. I should be doing really well this time, also going to be offering network-wide banner ads. But I'm still working on the paypal IPN atm.
Doing it manual isn't that tough. I use to have around 300 quality proxies 2 years ago, and did them all manual. What I used though was a php include for the header, body and footer for all my proxies so that I could test different advertising programs without having to edit them by hand. If you think it's a lot of work, start any decent blog or website and manage that one -- think about: content writing, promotion, advertisements etc. That's what I call lots of work So what I'd say is, don't invest money in a control panel for a bunch of proxies.. it isn't all that bad.
Looks like there is some kind of reviving in the proxy business. This is good. I'm planning myself to build a new home dedi server and start my new network. The good things are: - new IP which is not banned yet - better and more experienced development the bad things are: - more expenses - start popularization process from scratch Let's see if this will double my incomes.
Here's a 255 anon and elite proxies that get updated every few days. http://www.icbbs.com/free-seo-tools/free-proxies Should probably rinse them in scrapebox
Anyone noticed a big increase in traffic for january ?? I was expecting it to be a pretty slow month but im getting some pretty decent traffic, not that im complaining
I noticed traffic picking up from the end of last week after the seasonal break, and today the kids went back to school too, now usual traffic for weekdays and I'm not complaining either. Kids at school, people at work, normal service has been resumed
Glype already has a control panel, or at least a place to configure it. Are you talking about a panel for multiple proxies?
Mines been alot more than average since january second, Weekend traffic is unusally high too, lets hope it contiunes Ross.
I've been on proxy business (part time) for like since the beginning of time and I'm still having problem crossing the $200 margin. How much do you guys make? I'm really disappointed with the output.
If you're looking for a long-term steady income it's good to invest all your time in that one proxy and make it stand out. If you want to have lots of short-term earnings (+$600/month) you're better off creating some set & forget proxies, just multiply all numbers.
