Your picture freaks me out for some reason. Anyways, I was just wondering what everyone thinks of this: http://www.proxytoolbox.com/ .
How do I redirect china traffic or some other country traffic ? I will appreciate If someone can PM me the htaccess code in exchange I can forward you bunch of traffic. I can get IP ranges at blockacountry but Do know how to redirect it instead of blocking. Thanks
Ok so this is the .htacces Matt suggests So does this mean http://www.intlinetfreedom.info is where all the traffic is redirected too? If not, where do i put the URL where traffic is redirected to? Also, if I only want to ban a country on just a couple of me proxies, do i put the .htaccess files in the addon directory - coz it will ban the ips for all addon domains otherwise wont it?
Every domain/directory has it's own directives defined in the .htaccess file so changes being done in a domain won't affect other domains about error documents, you can find better code in this article where much more error pages will redirect to your home page to give it more exposure
That article says nothing about blocking countries - or does the .htaccess you provide already have iran blocked? Also it says in yours and Matts articles to put the .htaccess in public_html folder - but wont this affect all my domains.
Read my post again This was a reply to this part of your post I was talking about the last line of your .htaccess file 403 is not enough - you can add many other error codes so you make sure you never lose a visitor
Yea I got that part - googled a bit and got to know deny from IP gives a 403 error to the ip range and ErrorDocument 403 domain.com redirects all 403 pages to domain.com Now what i'm confused about is that is there a different .htaccess for every domain, because i dont want to block iran from every site - just a couple of 'em. Edit: @TechEntrance Oh, ok now i see. Yea i see in your file that you redirect 300,301,...,404 traffic so that i dont lose any traffic whatsover - thats a great thing to do and i'll just redirect the iranians to a video blog. Sorry for being such a n00b, but never messed around with .htaccess before. Thanks for you help guys and TechEntrance
Yes, different .htaccess for every domain. if you're on cpanel, you'll find .htacces for their respective domains in the directories of the addon domains.
I find it funny that the proxy market is so big , essiently this proves that with prohibition there is always someone to come and profit off it by offering an alternative so people will get either way.. in this case with proxies were helping people get on to some website that is blocked. Were offering a service for people to violate there Schools/work internet policies. oh sorry just a little rant thing that came to mind..
You are also offering a service to oppressed communities/countries like Iran, Myanmar etc. Unless you are blocking them of course
oh yes I forget about that! lmao oh another example I just thought of is those Youtubedownloader sites. There was a huge demand for downloading the youtube video's and it was against youtube policies to download them. So all thies downloader sites poped up overnight and alot people made a tidy profit off it...where there is a rule to be broken there is money to be made.
I can give a PHP script for your proxy to ban every country you need + database of countries' IP for not expensive price. Also you can add any ip manually in just one click! if you are interested just PM me ;-)
So can I - you can download it here. You can find the database of IPs here. Alternatively, you can just use .htaccess like the people on this page suggested.
hi. sorry for interrupting out of nowhere. If my 2 proxy sites averaged $0.44/day. How much will I be able to sell it? Its 15 days old. Thanks!
Thanks xpsave... that's what I'm thinking. Also, if your proxy can earn big in a single day, would that guarantee that you can sell the proxy with a high amount? I mean, it could drop in the following days? wouldn't that be like unfair? Pardon me, I am a noob in this proxy thing...
