You can buy coupon codes for 15 dollars valid for 20 submissions. This brings down proxy submission cost to 75 cents.
I have noticed that as my proxies get older the traffic becomes more consistent but the ctr I get slowly dies. After sometime I get to a point where nobody clicks on my ads. What about webevader.org?? It is pretty good too in my opinion. Proxb.com also doesn't approve any proxies these days. I have been submitting for many weeks and I have given up now. Why pay for something which your getting for free? There are many proxy lists which will give you equal amount of visitors for free.
It sucks to hear that my old proxy list, which costed blood, sweat and tears is now on the bad road Unfortunately I can't contact the new owner anymore, sucks for you guys!
Hmm! I have yet to come across any proxy topsite which gives as good results as tech-faq. Mind sharing if you know any such toplists...
Just to let everyone know, ProxyDirectory.com is currently for sale and there's a couple hours left on the auction. Very good price at the moment I think and now is your chance to establish yourself heavily with a great hub website. Comes with PHPLD no link back license which costs $80 and a custom designed logo. Just needs a bit of TLC and it'll be making cash in no time. Search for "ProxyDirectory.com"
I got this email today... They pretty much just removed one of my domains. They banned a domain my proxy was running on, wtf?
"...FUNBLOCK.ORG was running an anonymous proxy service, which is against Go Daddy's Terms of Service..." Now I have two options: I either have to: 1. Pay $199 to reactivate. 2. Pay $75 to switch registars. Who knew Godaddy had a policy against proxies, wtf? Then I checked their TOS, CONTROL + F = Found nothing about proxies. They're bs'ing me with fake TOS, that's not even in their TOS. https://www.godaddy.com/gdshop/agreements.asp <-- Terms of service, nothing about proxies. Closest thing is "Domains by Proxy" which is some kind of domain-related stuff, nothing to do with proxies. I'm not going with Godaddy again.
Anyone here still using proxynations.com? Currently I redirect all submission from xytheme.com to proxynations.com.
I followed the link you provided but couldn't find anything related to proxies either. However, I believe that Godaddy Hosting doesn't allow proxies, even though they do not state it expressively. Rather, the say they can suspend a domain if they find use or content of a domain "inappropriate" in legal lingo.
ALmost 95% of proxy industry depends on GoDaddy domains..I believe its abt hosting and not abt domain registration..i hope so..
oh boy, you used proxies on shared hosting..? not only godaddy, every hosting company, close your account for this violation you learned leason, never put web proxies on shared hoosting, if you wanna take risk, try with. info you lose only 1$ that way
To me this simply looks like you were hosting a proxy on godaddy shared hosting and they closed you down. Then by extension your domain name was banned because it received more scrutiny and they wanted to tack extra charges on. Frankly, you should of done better research and you would of seen its a stupid idea to use shared hosting for this purpose. While I don't agree with the massive charges imposed, it's to be expected.
The thing is, in 2007/08, I had proxies hosted with Godaddy and no problems came up. But now, this happens after 11 days of operation. Godaddy is seriously trying to take more $ away, because they suspended both the domain and hosting account. (So you can't use any other web host) Unless you pay them $199. http://www.google.ca/search?q=$199+...s=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&s...al&q=godaddy+scam&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai= I can see others have had the same $199 issue with Godaddy.
