Yes, I noticed a message from hostgator when trying to visit centurian.org. The owner used to be Mr. Bill (http://forums.digitalpoint.com/member.php?u=88079)
So he finally sold it. I am thinking about stopping submitting proxies to Webevader anyway because for each proxy submission I get up to three nagging pop-ups.
I want to make a proxy list kind of thing. One that proxy owners can list on without much input from myself. Any ideas how to do one. I saw one yesterday in the freebie section but I was unable to find out with script that person used. So any advice would be super. Thanks so much.
We just released a free version of our WProxy List plugin, it doesn't have the options as paid, but if you just want a list....you just approve/delete/bulk add via the wp-admin. Proxy List -- download from there or on WP plugin site.
I am selling my proxies( 6 proxy sites) because I am in great need of money. Check my thred and get some good sites at a low price: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1869602
Good luck selling them however I don't think many people are interested in them due the low traffic and earnings, you might want to host them for another month and get better results which will help you selling the network. And I don't like your themes in combination with ad placement. For example on encryptedproxy.info, where the URL bar is far above the retangular ads, and you haven't got any link ads above or beneath them. Your visitors will use and click that URL bar most of the time so you might consider replacing and relocating the ads. Good luck selling.
That url bar is infact a google search bar that produces good revenue. The true proxy url bar is lower on the page.
ow haha! I only let me eyes have a quick view on your website. I would make all your sites like encrypted.info because it has the best ad placement!
Anyone know what countries to block? I seem to get non-US traffic a lot, but not quite sure whether I should block certain countries. Thanks~!
Anybody having XML issues with Facebook on Glype? When accessing it on my proxies, I'm getting XML parsing issuess...
In this post here you find an example of blocking by means of Maxmind GeoIP. In the code snippet you find the country codes for the countries I block, e.g. China and Nigeria. Some block more (or less) than I do in the code snippet, but that's depends on your viewpoint, traffic origin, and eCPM (earnings) for example.
That is a really cool program! But the free version doesn't seem to work. I get error saying I need to input key license when I tried to click on the link on the Proxy List :/
I would usually block countries like india, iran, nigeria, china and other countries that have a bad ration of bandwidth/revenue
well most of the time I test blocking certain countries, and US visitors are 90% of my income so I don't want the traffic/hackers from iran, india, nigeria and china as I mentioned. you can also set that up in Google analytics, integrate with adsense
