who said AWstats not supported proxy?

 

I do. The page views figure is usually about 10x higher than in reality due to every 'hit' counting as a pageview in awstat's log analysis. The uniques figure is accurate though.

 

I said and am sure of this awstats reports less than what Histat,google analytics and other says awstats may just show the UV of the traffic and page views _counting proxified pages_(and not accurate too) the thing is important in the First page Hits now about my question how to put ads on proxified pages of a Zelune proxy site?! i know the txt file named "form" but its not showind the ads often!!! any suggestions on this prob?!

 

where abouts have you put the code?
Try opening index.php, and find this line of code -

Can someone point me in the right direction on how to add 2 (480x60) banner ads to the footer of a proxified page? Where in Phproxy code would I add the advert code and what if any mods would need to be made to phproxy.

is it agains the TOS like adsense to have ads on iframes or i could go on ...?

 

AWstats should work fine with any kind of site - but It will not be accurate with proxies.

But this doesn't mean that it doesn't work so "chaoward" you should ask your host to see why it's not working for you.

first, im new to proxy sites!
here is my question:


i've read a lot about proxy owners who would say that, after my proxy gets blocked, I just have to buy a new domain and start again..

How would i know if my proxy is blocked? My proxy is 1 week old and making about $2/day..
I doubt its blocked already at the moment.. please explain this to me. Thank u in advance..

 

As far as I know you can't know if your proxy is blocked or not. You can go to the school and try accessing your proxy and see if it works. That would be the only solution. The other is some user tells you that he can't access your proxy from his school. Unless your proxy is not very very popular, don't worry about being banned from school filters.

 

Almost all of he proxies owned by people on here are blocked by connecticut school filters.

You have to keep changing your directory name.

 

This site is a blacklist filter project to list "bad site" for schools/work places using DansGuardian FIlter software.
urlblacklist.com I've check some proxies on and there listed.

Apparently also if you feel your site was wrongly listed you can appeal for removal..

On topic, what is everyone current CTR around? for me today, I have 4.7 which is amazing, I jsut changed tempaltes xD. only made $1.00 though

 

what template you use?

 

My CTR is hovering between 3-6%, but traffic is so much lower on the weekends that it doesn't add up to much . Not quite an internet millionaire yet!

my ctr for november is at 2.7% which is twice what it was for october but still not great enough.
All my proxies with sidebars(like this) have 2-3% ctr while my proxies without sidebars(like this) have 4-5% ctr. I need to do the math and see if the earnings from the sidebar offset the drop in ctr.

I received an email from my hosting company where my dedicated proxy server is and they said this....

Since I have been smartpriced and get like 350 click but minimal earnings (like 20) and this spam thing and then the extra bandwidth... i am thinking of selling my network unless someone know of a way to fix the spam thing.

 

If you are dealing with spammers, disable the proxy part of your site for a few days that should cause them to move on. What eaxactly is spamcop and what did they send your server?
