I bought a listing on your Topsite proxygears.com for $2 for Freesslproxy.com and 3 days ago and still not listed!
Congratulations! http:// skooproxy.com and http:// facebookunlocks.info have just been drawn as winners of a 30 day featured listing at www.proxies4u.com's top list. The proxies have already been promoted to Super Premium / Second Tier. The next drawing is in 24 hours. Make sure your proxies are listed by then.
At my new proxy top site you can win a free top tier listing, see thread above. I don't know how much traffic you will get, but I am sending my Google Group there and www.proxies4u.com will be intensively promoted, most likely spending some bucks on Adwords. Cheers, vahing
I want to either buy or trade links with proxy related sites which have PR3 or higher... If you are interested in Please PM me. The site I am talking about is WebEvader.org...
I finally got an AdSense account and I was wondering if the proxy business is the same as before (as 1 year ago)? 1. Is AdSense still the best moneymaker on the front page and AdBrite on proxified pages? 2. I saw that AdSense now require a Privacy Policy, does it apply to proxies too and can you give me an example of nice Privacy Policy for proxy site? 3. What do you recommend for hosting (what company)? 4. Which is the best (free) script at the moment? 5. What is the best promotion method (Google/Yahoo Groups, Newsletter submissions were modern back in the time, are they still adequate to use?)? Is it worth using AdWords to promote a proxy site or is there too much competition? 6. There was some issue with AdSense making all of the account's clicks worth a few cents if the majority of your traffic was from low converting countries (eg Iran). Do they do that now or pay for the click according to the individual visitor's location?
Have you considered Monsterprox.com? They have got a new Intel Xeon Nehalem 16 effective cores and 48gb ram capable server with cluster, raid enabled HDDs and solid uptime.
It's best to think thrice before getting a host which oversells bandwidth. No doubt shared hosting can oversell bandwidth. But not the case for proxies. Proxies uses tons of bandwidth and server resources, hosts which oversells them are going face the strong possibility of downtimes and server crashes due to overloads on servers. Just my 2 cents.
I'm totally agreed. They're not cheap, but reliable and that's not just words. I've been more than 6 months with them.
1. Is AdSense still the best moneymaker on the front page and AdBrite on proxified pages? Yes and try Global Interactive, adversal for proxified. 2. I saw that AdSense now require a Privacy Policy, does it apply to proxies too and can you give me an example of nice Privacy Policy for proxy site? Yes and use one of mine http://Proxi.mobi 3. What do you recommend for hosting (what company)? Tech Entrance or TMZ 4. Which is the best (free) script at the moment? Glype for now 5. What is the best promotion method (Google/Yahoo Groups, Newsletter submissions were modern back in the time, are they still adequate to use?)? Is it worth using AdWords to promote a proxy site or is there too much competition? Newsletters, topsites, signatures and more. Adwords not worth it for a proxy ! 6. There was some issue with AdSense making all of the account's clicks worth a few cents if the majority of your traffic was from low converting countries (eg Iran). Do they do that now or pay for the click according to the individual visitor's location? Smartpricing exists. So divert low paying countries to my proxy list or yours lol ! http://Proxys.in
Is it possible to get out of this AdSense sandbox of low paying clicks, caused by visitors from low-converting countries to your proxy? Does AdSense require the Disclaimer and Terms of Use too, or just a short Privacy Policy that you serve third-party advertiser cookies?
I just deleted 357 bunk proxy sites off my site http://hidefinder.com , most of them were parked pages and were submitted in the last 3 months. Seems like Link Rot is a problem on topsites. No proxy sites really stay around for long do they?. Good thing I have patience. Took an hour to click threw each one and delete them! lol
I did agree with you about the oversell. But host rarely down coz they will monitor the CPU usage of each client. If anyone exceed the set CPU limit, then the hosting will suspend it.
That's exactly the problem lol. Hosts who oversell tend to suspend accounts which uses high CPU resources though the user uses only less than half of their allocated bandwidth. So in that sense, I think the user would feel cheated that they got suspended though they still have lots of bandwidth to go.
