    guy guys, cmon...

I don't want to be the bad guy but please, if you want to buy or sell a website either do so via PM or on the B/S/T section.

On a side note, i'm in the process of developing a mod for php proxy to implement ads on the actuall websites that the users surf on, what this means is if a website normally has an advertisement box 300x250, you can use that location to put in your ads.

Now i'm not sure if this would be legal or not, or whether it breaks any of the websites TOS. From my knowledge, if the end user has the choice to block ads then proxy owners should have the choice of blocking ads (then put their own ads in place of that). What do the rest of you think? Is this project too risky? Should I stop?

It could break the TOS of a few sites that said I have never read a tos that specifically states this. I dont know how you would do this but how would the website owners find out?

What adverts you guys show on proxified pages. as far as i know adsense ban ads showing on proxified pages. Then what are the best adverts to put there?

I think it's a bad idea. Remove a webmasters ad that they generate revenue with and replace it with the owner of the proxy's? Seems kind of immoral to me.

Has anyone had this problem with their proxies and PR....
I have a few PR 4 proxies, however, they show as 'fake' so I did a little investigating and they point to one of my other domains. I do not have any redirects on them..... I don't get it...

    WILL NOT BE OK

    why ?

Because you don't know what kind of site the users are browsing and if your ad will be safe showing there or not since the content on that site might be breaking your ad company TOS ;)

u cant place adsense on it atleast. this is because of the fact that adsense TOS states that the content should be urs only and not someone elsees

i don't plan on using any ppc campaigns or adsense, rather affiliate campaigns where my source of income will be based on sales rather then the amount of clicks, for this reason I don't think i'll have too much problem, worst will be that they won't pay the commission earned.

I guess if you guys see this as immoral or just a bad idea, i guess i'll keep my idea to myself. I haven't even completely written this mod.
At the end of the day, all proxy owners provide a service where they allow ppl to access websites.
If you have a website that is blocked and people are using proxies to get to your website, there's no one stopping you from blocking proxies from accessing your website.

seems just im moral to me. But I know many proxy owners are doing the same things.

BTW: Can you guide for me "How to save your proxy sites from getting blocked. I am looking for the filter mod for FREE or Cheap :)"

my adsense is all over the place (for proxies at least). I have had some bloody awful clicks - 0.01, but then really high paying too - 1.96.
Proxies will be completrly different for everyone with regards to different advertisers. The best bet is to give as many as you can a go. I am yet to try widgetbucks but will do this week - so will try and feed back on how that goes.

If you copied a page off someone else's website and replaced all their ads with your own, I think everyone would agree that's not a good idea. Effectively you're going to do exactly that, but automatically by the proxy software.
