Currently getting about £0.20/£0.40 for a proxy with 500 unique views a day, terrible...so rubbish.
Depending on what countries your traffic is coming from that could be considered good. However, if the majority of your traffic is US, UK, or Canada based, then I'd be concerned.
Anyone having any recent issues with Glype 1.1 causing apache children to hang indefinitely? If you're watching server-status with ExtendedStatus On you'll see them hanging at W (Sending Reply). I first noticed this when under high load my server would hit the max child limit (2048) in about 4 hours. Downgrading 0.x helps them from hanging indefinitely, but it's still hanging for ~10 seconds occasionally. I've been trying to figure this issue out for a couple weeks now. I've gone as far as installing a fresh Debian 5 install on a vmware guest. After that I installed a fresh glype-1.1.zip and have seen the issue. Just wanted to see if someone else is having these problems.
Gosh so many people are having different problems with glype 1.1 !! What does the future hold for Glype ??
I was refering to the free guide, not my proxy promotion Well after the little "trick" the new owner pulled with the pub_id switching I wont use the script at all. It wont be long before another script pops up to replace Glype.
Yeah... Exactly Stephe. Willyboy put http://www.sitemeter.com on your site and see what comes up. (Its updated in live time, unlike G.Analytical) Advertisers are not interested in a majority of these countries, specially Iran and won't pay you for it.
what networks best monetize china traffic and Middle eastern traffic? Btw guys, is the season going to kick back into gear soon?
They are not dead its just that schools are over now. When they start back in september then proxies start making money - Prilep
I can't wait until school starts for those kiddos. I have a nice marketing strategy that i am going to play. Social Networking is the best for proxys. You let the kids know, if it works, they tell there friends. Its free traffic and easy.
Hi, Anyone here have the account terminated by XtendMedia? They give me reasons: - No conversions / Conversions rate is closed to zero - Traffic is coming from Source URL’s other than declared in the application form. - Site content Any ideas? Thanks
Me too noticed the problems with glype and thought of using phproxy. i wanted to use glype as it's easy to customize. Also I have one site running on phpproxy. It looks good for customizing but not as good as phproxy. Some problems do exist.
A lot. In a few weeks maybe 1000 more than normal, UV. The trick is to messege them not like a robot, but like a human. "Hey whats going on" - that workds fine and just wait for them to respond. Don't make an account with a logo of your site as the picture, make it a real picture of you so they know who there dealing with and if they see what you look like they will be more than happy to go on your site. This is from personal experience and I can vouch it works.
@ Shotse - I am looking forward to see how this strategy works out for you Also Proxieslounge has just released another great free proxy theme! You can find it HERE It is compatible with Phproxy, Zelune and Glype!!!
