if you put on one 728x90 banner on header you will probably see a major change in your cpm earnings and it wont affect the users much if your pageload speed is quite good
But proxified pages for me are almost null in terms of revenue. I have GI and Mediashakers on the proxified. And it both generates 10% of the total profit when compared to the main page adsense..
The only reason for me to run proxies is to make money. And I've made a lot from proxies. I can also pretty much guarantee that my proxified pages load faster than any other proxies out there. Limetone Networks has some of the best premium bandwidth in the industry. If it's slow for you, it's your connection.
That's really unfortunate. On average, each user to my site goes through about 7-8 pageviews. (and thats only the average) I'm currently at about 275,000 pageviews a day....soo... 275 x 0.12......well, you do the math Proxified page ads are where it's at. What are you guys doing, sitting around all day and waiting for your $2.50 a day Adsense income?
yes , i have expirence with both of these (santrex and myprohost.com) . santrex banned me so they are not recommended any more , currently i am on myprohost.com which is really good and cheap
its not your pages that loads slow, i do agree that your pageloads are pretty much faster than most of the proxies. yours are even faster than mine though the problem is ADS load slow and they kill the pageload speed
Ah, gotcha! Yes, your correct. Although I've found that using iFrame'd ads as opposed to Javascript ads helps to speed up the page loading significantly.
i dont know about other ad networks but for adbrite and xtendmedia it does. if you have your banner on header you will be getting more clicks. more clicks means higher CTR. higher CTR gives you more conversions and hence a better eCPM. but iframe'd ads will never give you good performances. I have no idea about why iframe'd ads donot perform as good as scripts but I am pretty much sure about the difference you will notice in performance. Also if you use iframe, your main page will load quickly whereas the iframed pages will keep loading for longer periods which will increase your server resource usage.
because those iframes are in those ads servers it may take time to serve from those servers thats why its slow i think
He is not the only one trying that trick. Today I was checking through the backlinks to A-Z Proxies and came across a backlink from epicproxies.com which was an immediate red flag considering I had a run in with the owner after he stole content from A-Z and then claimed it as his own. Sure enough, there is a backlink hidden in the foot of his site along with all the other proxy list links. Just below all his spammy keywords, guess this webmaster will try anything to get ahead Depends how hard you work on promoting your web site. I launched my list in May last year so it's hard to say if it was effected or not without anything to compare it with. But time will tell
yup thats the reasons. there it depends more on the speed of the advertising server. but in that case you can always talk to the advertising companies and host the scripts on your own server for faster performance. haha that was hlarious, atleast he should have agreed if he did so. i wonder how he will be surviving in this business in long run
Proxified page is after the page that you key in the URL then press browse. No i not sitting there waiting for the adsense revenue. I constantly optimize my proxy to get better CTR.
We're trying something new at The Tech-FAQ Proxy List. Our popular proxy list is now available via a Twitter feed at Twitter: ProxyBlast. We just started to promote it, so there are no subscribers yet. But, I think that in time it will gain a large number of subscribers and become another good method for distributing hot fresh proxies to anxious Internet users.
Yes, I know what proxified pages are. How are you optimizing a proxy homepage? There's only so much you can do... I just don't see why proxy owners aren't taking advantage of making more than double of what they already make...
you can always have other cpm banners and popunders (once a day) too make a few more bucks out of it. I am using xtendmedia on homepage of some of the proxies alongwith adsense and supposedly its doing good for me.
