Hey can anyone tell me how to solve the problem i'm getting on my new ssl proxy, https://jesushideus.com, it says the server tried to put security measures but failed :| it simply means to "get around" something or somewhat.. like bypass filters, it means to get aroudn those filters. it's a good keyword for a proxy imo, but just don't forget to encode your index page too
What do you mean "encode your index page too" ? And, what do you think guys, what the best keywords for proxies are when person searches to unblock sites at the school or at work?
well, that depends on person to person so just keep trying out new keywords until you find ones that work best for you. there's an option in glype to do just that..it helps in bypassing the "content search"(or w/e it's called) of those filters
Hey can anyone tell me how to solve the problem i'm getting on my new ssl proxy, https://jesushideus.com, it says the server tried to put security measures but failed :| More info: it works when I remove the google adsense ads...
does it show the ceritificate to be valid? take a look at https://jesushideus.com/setup.php does it say the same thing on the certificate there too?
I asked this a while back when I added a ssl to my proxy and went so far as to check out the adsense website. You will always get the warning if you show adsense. Adsense does not offer any alternative for sites running ssl's. So I left it alone the certificate is in place but so are the ads. Fair warning the ssl for some reason uses more resources so be prepared if you have a good amount of traffic.
@bill, thanks for the confirmation. I guess i'll just go ahead since the browse.php seems to be secure. would you like a link-exchange after I get this site completely working? I'm adding a "Donations" page, removing "Support Us" and a few other changes too
You cant do anything about the https warning regarding adsense. Same if you place ads on the proxified pages, most ad networks dont bother to offer https (valid) I read a forum post about 5 or so people talking about how my last batch of https proxies "sucked ass" because of this lol -even though they were still unblocked, oh well cant win them all.
Yeah, SSL mixed errors suck hard on I.E, there no way to disable it. so it makes the errors constantly on each page load. one of my SSL proxy sites I'm not even putting ads on the proxy page...and actually if a insecure warning does appear that means something got threw that wasn't proxied, so its actually best to click "no" in that instance. really.
I hope you don't mind me asking, but is there a reason of why you don't like the forum? Feedback would help greatly
My new proxy - http://modernhide.com/ Design is unique. Design and coding was made by me. My design and coding services you'll find here : http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=11089513#post11089513 What do you think about http://modernhide.com/ ?
Nice. Although some will say too much ads on it, but I think it they are well placed. I'm sure you'll get a lot of click with that placement.
