Why you keep $1400 at the adsense account?
You want to wait until reach $10000 only withdraw?

Well, if its not much to ask, using my referral links would be much appreciate although you are free to signup without my link though. I don't mind.

Sure, long time since Adversal approve direct application using a proxy site. Now they insist that they are too much applications from proxy webmaster and advice new sign ups to register with non-proxy sites.

Read this thread you are on now. The whole thread.
You can submit your proxies to proxy listing site. (No worries, I am sure after seeing your post, there will be several people who will shamelessly promote their own site) :p
You can also buy newsletter or group email blast.

I'm using glype proxy. Do you think httpd or lighttpd will be fast for me? I have a vps with 1 gb and should I use xcache? I need to optimize my vps to be fast for proxy.

    thanks

If you want to use lighttpd, make sure you know how to convert existing htaccess to lighttpd system as it does not use htaccess. Maybe you can consider litespeed or nginx. As for PHP accelerator, I recommend eaccelerator.

Have you seen noted gains in performance using "eaccelerator" or the alternatives?

I haven't got a good experience with lighttpd, it's rather slower than apache, though using lesser resouces...

Theres alot of different ways, some of which are free and paid. (I'd say paid tend to perform better for when you first release your proxy site to get the best out of it before it gets blocked; and you usually make your money back quite quickly if ads are monetized well)

    Some free ways are:
    1. Yahoo Answers (popular and effective)
    2. Yahoo and Google Groups (check this thread for free groups you can promote your proxy to)
    3. Proxy Lists and Topsites (check this thread for a list of proxy sites worth submitting to)
    4. Forum Signatures and Forum Postings
    5. Directory Submissions

I do suggest you to try the proxy.org offer that they currently running.
    Its now slashed the price.
Well,if you don't wish to spend $$ then you need to do the job such as submit it to proxy topsite that is time consuming

Most linux distros seem to package up really old buggy versions of lighttpd, si if you are considering to install it through this method double check it is the latest version. If you are using the latest version
you probably just needed to tweak your amount of php processes (spawn-fcgi -c <num> i think), Because lighttpd IS faster. If your back php ends are "full" they have to wait for it to deal with one request before it will deal with any more, so you get a backlog of php requests which in the real world means the user sees a loading screen :( You probably did not see this with apache because of the way it is designed/setup as default

    JUst a head up,
For those guys who used TMZ hosting for their proxy, mostly their ip is blocked by myspace after they change to a new server. Beware....

For proxy, I recommend lighty. Although it will need to be tweaked. You can hire someone to tweak it for you.

Proxy.org price slash is only valid for 1 day. (April 1st). You can check it at www.proxy.org/nojoke.shtml
