Your idea to create an open source proxy list script is very good as well very much in demand. If you need a partner for this then let me know, we can have discuss more. I do have an idea complete with mock ups and details created. a glype with the feature sounds good but I just don't see a demand in paid proxy where there are more schoolkids using it rather than adults.
Does anyone know what has happened to xytheme.com ? It had some really good templates and resources but it is offline at the moment
Erk! Sorry guys, it just that I have a problem with the server which I'm using. I change my host and got 3 servers running but then the apache seems to lack a few module that makes ALL my sites are down. Really sorry for that. Probably will fix this within tonight or maybe tomorrow.
I am in. I have developed a single and i feel we should make one, single, open source, proxy list script. Or what about open proxy directory? Such as dmoz. But it uses the normal proxy list script.
Why would you want to create an opensource proxy list script ? Wouldn't it just flood the market even more ? There are like 200-300 lists out there
Open Source proxy list script would allow proxy list owners to run a better script. My aim is to provide a quality script to people that already own the sites, or are looking to create one. And if you notice there may be a lot of tiny proxy list sites running the same warez script, but very few are noticed and used.

I received so many SPAM submission from this guy His sites includes: phpbido.net phpbido.com phpbido.org suficaravan.com They will all redirected to this site: g0t1t.net So, I have decided to block his IP and email from ProxyWhereabouts permanently. Still looking for a way to do this as the script PW is on does not collect any IP. But then, beware of the submissions from this email.
I had to write a backlink checker which will be run a few times an hour for theproxyfinder.com to try and fight some of my spam and the people who remove the back link. almost 200 submissions got deleted today becuase of this. proxywhereabouts banning by ip just wont work even if your script did allow it. They will change IPs. I am finding that checking for adsense pub-ids (or any other money making footprint) is rather effective so far. I will also have to change the IPs i check from to combat cloaking now
Same problem here on my proxy list site many are removing links or give wrong anchor text links back. Btw http://www.dead-links.com is a good site to find death links and redirects.
