I think that what tech-faq ought to do is use something like CPAlead for proxy listings and/or have the option to pay $1 instead of doing the CPAlead or whatever. That way at least people that don't have a great deal of paypal $ or whatever can still have an option of promoting their sites! I do agree though that there's a hell of a lot of proxy sites being released on there every day and sites don't seem to stay on the front page for very long, but the initial increase of visitors is high!
I need a bit of advice from someone that uses adbrite for their proxified pages, I've tried using them for about a week now and so far have made 2c! which to me is terrible considering that the cpm block says 22 and my adzone views says 1,200. I've gone for the newer full page ads that they have that are supposed to be CPM but it's turning out that that's not the case! Anyway, what I want to know is what type of ad people use on the proxified page and also when making the ad code, what 2 categories do they use? 1 last thing, can you use the same code from 1 ad block if you intend on having the same ads throughout or do you have to make a new ad code for each site you intend using adbrite on? Thanks in advance for answering, it's doing my head in trying to find revenue that'll be enough to pay my hosting each month as adsense doesn't pay into paypal so I need a decent company that pays into paypal and also one that would have a low enough cash out so that I can keep my hosting costs confined to paypal only!
You wont get nothing for that adzone views. Try something like 100,000 per day. Then you will make money.
You guys are better off using Adversal for proxified pages, if you can't get in with them then use Canep. Adbrite isn't really great for proxy sites.
It doesn't really matter what you use rates will always be low for proxy user traffic. The conversion ratio and leads is very small to amount of visitors. Some networks wont accept your site at all. Other like Globalinteractive set the rate very low, like 0.03 eCPM. I think it tends to be amount of Teens using the sites, there are not really easily sold anything. There just there to eat up your bandwidth and make your server bill higher.
My new proxy list : Euro Proxies , currently you can submit your proxies for free. If your proxy is located in USA use "International" category, Thank You. Also i moved the spanish list to Proxys ( proxys.org.es )
Thats a strange paradox. USA is not something I would consider international. But I guess on the other side of the ocean it may.
I had to choose a name for the proxies outside European Union "Non-EU" is also an alternative but no one is searching for "Non EU" proxies.
