have other proxy owners noticed users using your proxy to click googleadds.. and i dont mean your ad's

seen some fishy activity in my logs!

can i get banned for this?!?

 

could anyone suggest where to submit my proxy to get high steady traffic from? willing to link back

 

You won't get banned, but the user clicking will. Adsense uses special tools to check whether clicks are made from proxies.

 

Submit it to proxy.org coz many proxy user will go there to search for fresh proxy.

 

How much are people making on a day to day basis?
I'm making around $2 a day. Hm. I use to make $30 =/

I have seen 700+ visitors from techfaq to a proxy the first day I submitted it. However the traffic tends to die off after a day or three. Where as proxy.org sends consistent traffic.

Yes, but compared to 12-15 a day from that other place would rather have the surge then only 12-15 a day for a month since you get more in the surge. Mathematically you get more from the surge more attention to your site and more find out faster then the slow trickle of the other site.

For me it was all middle east. That was over a year ago and wont ever use his site since he doesnt give a crap about it or he would clean up his list. Found it funny he wanted volunteers to do this for him.

Put in your "HOSTS" file,

0.0.0.0 pagead2.googlesyndication.com googleads.g.doubleclick.net

That will nullroute the domain to 0.0.0.0.. Google Ads will no longer appear on threw your proxy.

 

The thing with proxy.org is that when he submits it, he puts it on his Google group - getting you about 500 or so US visitors. Then, other groups follow his group and put the proxies on their sites. So while some of then end up from Iran (I haven't gotten any China), you still get much US.

PS: Is it normal that I have yet to receive more than 100 visitors from China in my entire life of proxies?

What do you guys think a network that made $3,468.28 in almost 6 months is worth if it was for sale?

 

Depends how big it is and how you promoted it.

 

Would you say that it is still easily possible to earn another 3.4k in 6 months, or that the network has done it's fullest and is now useless?

 

Most of it is just auto pilot now - returning users.
Not useless by any means
