    Adbrite for banners...
    Adversal for popups

Canep is also good for banners and popups.

Is there any chance for a "Proxy Resources" section for template/theme sites.

Question: Is Iran traffic worth it?

I have about 60% US traffic, 25% Iran traffic, and my China traffic is less than .3%.

A lot of my traffic comes from Iran sites that link to my site (but I haven't seen any hotlinking yet). Should I keep it?

It depends on your setup, you could limit their download sizes much lower than every one elses. Advertisers do not pay out as much (very little) for this traffic though. If you want to get rid of it contact me

As per public opinion ... its no good for AdSense..... Also you need to BAN them from adversal....
But you can try GlobalInteractive .. They are have some CPM (atleast not 0) for Middle east....

And as meep said u can play with setting for IRAN traffic or simply get rid of them!

I'm not sure how to play with the settings in Glype.

I currently use Google for home page ads, CANEP for proxified banner ads, and Global Interactive for proxified popunders.

The quality of Iran (plus others) traffic is generally quite low, useless for Adsense as pointed out many times before but certainly it doesn't have to be a complete write-off as long as you are able to service it affordably and still maintain even a tight profit margin.

I would suggest using Analytics (try using for a full calendar month) to drill down in your overall proxy network stats to try and work out not just the percentage of visitors but also the percentage of page views coming from individual countries. You don't have to do them all, just the ones that interest you. You can then use that to work out a rough "cost to serve" based on your fixed expenses (hosting, domains, advertising, etc) for each region. You then need to drill down in to your revenue reports and get the actual values earned in each region.

It sounds like a lot of work but it's worth it in the end as you can then see really basic stats like profit per x page views broken down by country. What you'll see is that US/UK/CA/AU/etc are quite high margins, Iran, Turkey and many others are high volumes but quite low margins, and then there is China and some others that may just be costing you money.

You have to do this yourself. You can't listen when other people say "Iran is bad, block it" without doing the math as what works for me might not work for you or someone else. The question you need to ask "Is X country bad for me?" and if you do the math, and then ask yourself that question, only then will you get the correct answer :)
