hi, this is my first post here, cand somebody explain me a thing?
until a few days ago I had 300x300 ad blocks from adsense on my proxies I was having 10-15 clicks per day but i received only 1-2 cents per click, now I've changed the size of ad blocks to 728x90 now I have 4-7/day but I receive 30-60 cents/clicks.
    Why is this difference?

Google bases their Adsense earnings algorithm on a massive range of factors so it's impossible to determine the exact cause. You could be showing less adverts which pushes up the price, it may be in a more clickable location on the page or your current visitors may attract higher bids. It's good to shake things up in your designs occasionally and it can unleash some extra revenue.

    Hi,
I'm using GI and MS banners and GI pop-unders. But never tried MS pop-unders but would be happy to know from someone who used that...

LOL. This is the attitude that don't fit to manage any site. Don't just wait for others to spoon feed you, spent some time doing research. Put some efforts in it. The resource is here, all you need is to spend a few minutes to read.

Of course, people here will be more than glad to help but think of it like this, say 60 people interested in proxy and each of them asking the same questions all over without putting any effort to read previous discussions. How will these kind guys felt then?

Well, like willyboy suggest, here is another; Proxy Resource

To add to that its like the 10 little Indian story with every person the story is different. Every owner has there own beliefs and styles. So you need to read the posts and take in what all the owners have said and then run with it. Trial and error has already been done for you. Now do some work for yourself because no one is going to do it for you. Or be like the other lazy folks and slap a free script and template up on a free host then come back in a week and complain about only making .01 for 15 clicks.

Read through and if cant figure something out people will help those you help themselves. Just come back and ask your questions when you get stuck.

For those running geoIP on a dedicated, in your .htaccess file do you use the file path like the example on maxmind? like:

    GeoIPEnable On
    GeoIPDBFile /path/to/GeoIP.dat

    RewriteEngine on
    RewriteCond %{ENV:GEOIP_COUNTRY_CODE} ^(CN|HK|TR|IR|RU)$
    RewriteRule .* - [F]

Or, will it work with just:

    RewriteEngine on
    RewriteCond %{ENV:GEOIP_COUNTRY_CODE} ^(CN|HK|TR|IR|RU)$
    RewriteRule .* - [F]

Experiment with a variety of ad formats, colour palettes and ad placements [If you aren't fully satisfied with your current CTR/earning per click] and you will find out what is the best ad combination for your proxy website that gives better returns [At least for a while]. Then change it occasionally when CTR/earnings lessen. Just like changing themes, changing ad colour and ad placement will help "freshen" your site.
