Some more on Facebook. Apparently Hidemyass.com (which is hosted in FDC) can't connect either to Facebook. But its using PHProxy.
I am now convinced that some FDC IPs may have been blocked or something by Facebook. The only solution would be too move to a different datacenter. You know it doesn't surprise me because their so many proxies there.
I've found other proxies, like http://sirty.com/ which is hosted in limestonenetworks connect absolutely fine to Facebook.

Yeah - It's related to FDC IP space. No matter of script or config, FDC is blocked as it seems. Too bad my host - wdservers is on FDC. :(

Yes I am hosted with wdservers too and I like there deals and service. so now I'm going to have to make a decision to either move to a new datacenter temporarly and pay threw the nose for bandwidth and wait for fdc to get unblocked or stay and wait it out meanwhile I'm keeping a close eye on traffic levels, Turkey holiday didn't help any, it screwed a bit with my metrics, but now it been a full week and my sites are on a downward trend as with impressions and revenues. By way of example my one my sites was at 5,500 visitors strong the week before. This week now 3,000 a day strong. 2,000 visitors loss a day! And thats just one site, This is freakin catastrophic for all parties involved! :(
Not only that my inbox is getting filled with people asking me to fix it. Its so annoying.

I can understand your situation considering the service level & stability of wdservers, it's hard to find a better host specialized in hosting proxies [ I have dealt with many before wdservers]

I'm going to move a one or couple of proxies outside FDC & move facebook traffic there. It's not the best solution but I can't think of any better. Moving everything off is not going to work for me.

I wonder why they blocked fdc ip space? Recently this week I heard Facebook one a case against a spammer for 873 million dollars, its seems after that fdc ip space was blocked. Maby the spammer was using fdcservers to spam facebook. lol

Just what I was thinking lol

FDC attracts those kind of people with their attractive deals. Limestone would be next ;)

Has anyone seen a big drop in adsense yesterday and today? Yesterday my revenue was half of the normal amount through adsense, and today it was down to 15% of the norm. Impressions and clicks were constant. Do you think I was smart priced?

Does your statement include Adbrite's Full Page Ads?

I think it's about inline ads, not full page ads.

I have been using inlines and full page ads for year and never heard of anything from Adbrite. IN fact if I disable it they would send me emails telling me to optimize my revenue and turn it on.

    Sorry, my mistake..
Inline text ads are not allowed.

You can double check with Adbrite and I am sure they will tell you the same.

Inside your group setting, click on the link where it says "Get a promotion box for your website "
Copy the code and paste it on your site.
