Guys do you know how to target ads? or improve your CTR? do you know of any template with a high CTR?

 

It may be true that you can add that many Adsense ads to a website and some people are probably earning a bit that way. I've always found keeping ads to a minimum usually results in higher earnings in the long term. Depending on how your template is structured you could end up displaying the worst paying ads in the best locations. Most of my proxy sites have 2-3 ad boxes and one adlinks ad at a maximum.

I've also just completed a new page for ProxyHost.org where you can compare all the individual proxy hosting plans available based on bandwidth, space, price and more. I'd appreciate it a lot if other proxy webmasters can leave a comment and rating (scroll to the bottom!) for any hosts you use.

 

two of my proxies have been recently hit by a lot of traffic from XX hits per day to 17500 hits yesterday, They are the only 2 proxies i have that are using phproxy, rest are using glype.

What is the reason for this???

 

Maybe you're getting a Ddos attack.. I got that too
Or your site is added to a website like prxgo .. and now has thousands of Chinese people visiting it everyday...

does submission to proxy topsites still brings good amount of traffic?
if yes, how much/site; if no, what is the promotion technique for proxy sites?

And yes.. submission does the job ofcourse, brings some good traffic

BUT mails do a better job.. but mails are mostly paid, submissions aren't (only if you let it do by somebody )

any of you ever sold proxified banners before here on dp? Adbrite is sucking and I am short of my hosting fees this month and was thinking about selling text links or banners on my proxified pages

i think you should look the ip logs , or inform to your host support abt this issue

 

I find it interesting question to ask.
When you go to proxy listing site and submit your proxies, do you click on the ads?

 

I personally dont. However all the ones I have do get random clicks on them from time to time.

 

There is a problem with the javascript, it parses the adversal code and it just opens a blank popup... if you can fix this problem on glype 1.0, I'd be interested to know how you do it.

Just wanted to let you know that I am selling some assets of mine:
