Users surely would prefer proxies without popups [Maybe even ads!], but blocking pop-upped proxies would be harsh on some proxy owners. Anyway its your call.

Personally I wouldnt worry about that. Just making sure they are up and running is what counts. If they dont like the popups they return to your site and try another. Not like there isnt a couple to pick from on your list.

No popunders make good money. If users dont like it, then they can go to another proxy.

btw is traffic down any today for anybody else? I'm not sure if its becuase Facebook doesn't work right now with some proxies (including mine) or just some random holiday or something.

oh ya. United states celebrates Thanksgiving on the 27th Nov, In Canada this holiday past long ago in Oct, before Halloween.

Personally I think these holiday now are overrated, or lost there meaning. Thanksgiving is a European tradition for Farmers to celebrate the harvest before Winter. As with Christmas to celebrate the brith of Jesus. I do not think people today actually celebrate like this anymore, its just some reason to get off work or school. lol

Thanksgiving is when we celebrate that we had firearms and the Indians didn't.

Christmas is when we celebrate Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus having the baby Jesus Claus.

This thanksgiving we can make meaningful by thanking all the proxy lists and their owners that give proxy owners traffic [And money].

I am sure Will will [Not a typing mistake] get lots of thanks thanks [Again .... not a typing mistake] to tech FAQ. :D

Well.. he provided over billions of clicks to our sites, so I'm sure he will :D

Featured listing on tech-faq.com = 500$ per month? xD
Probably it would be worth as much like that :)

    Greetz

Proxy mail to over 830 proxy seeking users for only 1$?
Or proxy mail to over 830 proxy seeking users + proxy submission to over 130 proxy lists for only 7$?
    See this topic now: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1127707

This can be an easy traffic source for you, plus maybe an easy itrader if you watch it from that position! ;)

Well, although I'm in the UK, I'll start.

No thanks to all the sh!tty proxy lists that get 1 visitor/day - the filters.
But thanks to pretty much all the proxy lists that get traffic to us, especially Tech-Faq. I decided to see what all the fuss was about when launching my last proxy and am very glad I did :)

Better to block all proxies :)

There are just .CN proxies which ALL redirect to browsetheblocked.info and .info proxies which go to "domain for sale" pages.
Congratulations, you did a great changes!

Yeh, I was pretty scared that I had downtime overnight as the traffic dropped to about half the usual level. Glad it was just a public holiday. What is the Christmas school holiday schedule in the US. Here in Australia there is an 8 week break from early December to just after Australia day (26th January)
