Question to the group please:

I have a couple of proxy sites were users (thousands of them) are going directly to the page that they want and bypassing my homepage. They can just bookmark the page and go there at will. How can I prvent this and force them to go to my homepage? I've got hotlinking turned on in my cpanel but that doesn't do anything. Any ideas? Thanks.

 

I think so
but the Blowfish encoding is great
the only way at the moment to use a PHProxy script (as phproxy is being Blocked by these new filtering softwares )

remove the top bar and put a link back to your home page
in this way they coulnt type the new URL there and they would have to revisit the first page

Im having trouble finding a good template to use with a good ctr

So if you know of one what that you are using and its either free or you have rights and getting a good ctr

Then pm me with what ctr you have been getting and i ill either buy it off you or give you a few $'s if its just a free one for your troubles

Yeah, i'm looking for some good Phproxy templates too, must be unique and look good. I'm willing to pay so PM me if you have one.

 

I'm using php 5. something. The latest I think

 

look at the top of index.php it should say something about hotlinking near the top and then have a number next to it and there i think its a 1 you change the number to

So if its a 0 change it to 1, if its a 1 change it to 0

I think them setting dont ned changing because i think 1 = yeah and 0 = no

if hotlinking is still happening then you could look at the first post of this thread as there is a hotlinking mod to ad

 

hotlink was set to zero and i changed it to a 1 but...
no difference. i can still bookmark any page and go right to it.

 

I don't test those templates in proxies but you can try.

OR maybe get somebody else to try as it might just be cache or somethign why its working
