You need dedicated ip address. It is a complicatedish process. I got SSL free when I regged domains at namecheap. Their knowledgebase had info on installing SSL.

I tried to SSL one of my proxies, but sent it off to the wrong email id and lost it. So I lost interest in SSL.

It easy, just go to chinese forum and promote your proxy.
Else you can ask other proxy owner who blocked china traffic to redirect the china traffic to you

You can register another product with namecheap and use the free certificate with this domain.

I know that some SSL proxies are getting really good traffic, but how is your experience?

You can easily switch to apache with lxadmin.

Or, you can set up via lxadmin by:
    - login to lxadmin as admin
    - click on ">>> Switch To Domain Owner Mode"
    - click on the "Parked / Redirected Domains" icon (under "Domain Adm")
    - click on the "Add Redirected" tab

China traffic is only good for pushing your Alexa down.
There alaredy was a guy here nashtax he had proxyhamster.com, it was 50K on Alexa and alot of chinese traffic and he was loosing money he said.
I guess he blocked it , now his site is 405K Alexa... Chinese traffic will make you lose money man.. You can see even here when he had the chinese traffic.
http://www.alexa.com/data/details/traffic_details/proxyhamster.com and click the "max" Button to see the giant spike in the middle in the graph. lol
