if you look at proxy submitted in techfaq , alot now fake proxy,seem true proxy,but when you try browse in proxied page, all this proxy direct you to sedo.
if see in who is, all domain owned from same people from Netherland :

Hey guys, I am wondering why when I am about to order a bold listing (yellow) on proxy.org the price goes up from $20 to $80?
And it is the same for other types of advertising (tier one, tier two...), the price is four times higher than the price announced in this page: http://proxy.org/advertise.shtml

The prices have never changed, bold is always 20 dollars. Best off to just contact him and let him know. It only takes 30 seconds to say hey your prices are quadrupling when I reach paypal I think there is bug in your payment gateway..

everything can happen - hosting die..banned acc..and etc...so it's good idea not to quit job..until u have at last 3-4 steady sources to earn from monney...proxyes..cpa..and others
