    I voted it. :)
I agree.. I'm tired of the subdomains. Tech-faq used to send 500 visitors in one day, now you lucky if you get 100.

The problem is Tech-faq has been and is being usurped for a long time and now click threw ratios are at all time low, I think maby 100 if your lucky, before you could 400 within a about 1 hour of submitting. What isomeone on the Topsite is doing is creating one after another and keep submitting. If you look now on the page 2 there 51 proxies all on the same IP. (76.76.3.121.) Which no doubt submitted by the same person, Why would someone need to submit 51 "proxies" in one day is beyound me, except maby there greed for usurping the traffic off the topsite and you never looked up what up usurping is, its not a good word.

I dont get the poll. Is he wanting the feedback or is this someone else trying to get him to change his site and started a poll? I say if he doesnt care to up keep it then pick a different proxy listing site and take it to the top and bury his.

but for the end user this is not a problem this is a good thing, he has a choice of 51 proxies (assuming they all work)

for the proxy web masters here, this is a bad thing yes but not for the user.

A better way would be perhaps limiting the amount of proxies a person can submit, to give you guys a better chance but at the end of the day you guys cant demand anything from the owner, the owner runs the site for the users not the proxy owners

Well whatever way you look at, the tech-faq topsite is getting owned by a few usurpers.

Personally I would touch subdomains with a 10 foot pole, becuase the terms of service in adnetworks forbide putting ads on free domains. I bet you that of all the spammers that have come by, they got it from some stupid ebook to make money with proxies, and with each one where did they go? Where did the embed-proxies spammer go? I bet there were banned from adsense. So its probably a good way to get yourself banned.

It might be harder to get users to remember a subdomain cause it is a bit more, err, extra work to type in? I always try to make my domains easy to type and to be heard out loud, so they can spread easier. (not really sure what you were responding to but that is one thing I've always thought of about subdomains)

Guys, I have sold mwolk.com (not fully as I will still be doing some coding occasionally if I get free time and site need it though financially I am not involved with it anymore) as I want to only focus on my SEO company nBridges Media from now on. It was fun to Work and code mwolk :) and to hang out with you people.

Just wanted to inform you, Everything will be the same on the site. The proxies will still be working (obviously). For any problems, you can use the site contact form to reach the new owners.

    Cheers

Well, some people will find something on it.. but maybe just allow 1 subdomain proxy per user and 1 'real' domain...
A lot will use a proxy than to submit but yeah.. a lot of proxies have the same Ip so...

But it's like that.. before you used to have an easy 600 uniques and A LOT OF returning visitors... but now subdomains... most users just don't care but they don't remember the names anyway...

So yeah... in my eyes if we would keep TEch-Faq quality HIGH, we should find something
    Or 2 subdomains per page...

    Greetz

So keep voting... it's for our own that we vote! ;)

Just voted for NO subdomains. I think tech-faq is getting abused by proxy owners.
The owner of tech faq should request payment for top listing, and disallow subdomains. He could make lots of more money through that site :)

@Aquarezz, are you dutch mate? :p
Because I saw your topic on sitedeals before I'd read this topic here :).

@All, if you want quality traffic, try to buy the $20 deal on proxy.org. It's providing 500UV for me :)

Yes, I'm dutch :) From Belgium...
And yes true, or only bold listings... tech-faq owner should stop working and he would never do something again...
I mean.. he's getting as much traffic as proxy.org... (It's not sure, but yeah)

So yeah.. featured listing.. I would pay a lot for that option
But before I would do that, subdomains should get out
So yeah.. since it's a new page I will post this link here but now I will stop putting my link in this topic.. I think all owners have seen it now and voted so

Well a lot of people will agree when I say this:
    - Block all subdomain proxies
    - Block all .co.cc etc. domains (the free ones like tripad said)
    - Only 3 proxies per day/page per IP

Or aren't you agreeing with this?
