Hmm, I'm trying that now but it doesn't look that good in my opinion. Is there any way to just make the footer bigger? I'm just contacting the designer now to see if he has any suggestions.
could just add a marque <MARQUEE WIDTH="20%" HEIGHT=100 SCROLLDELAY=100>ugly links and buttons would go here</MARQUEE> Code (markup):
Ya the hieght is probably fixed. So you have to edit the CSS file that corresponds for that part. You will see this div#Footer { padding: 0 12px; height: 68px; <---------------------------------- background: url(Images/Footer.png); }
But, if I have a marquee bar, won't the topsites punish me for that as their links aren't obvious? And, I know the links and buttons are ugly, but, hey, it's free, and if it's in the footer of my page then it doesn't really affect my site
Personally I would not even deal with adding the topsites, would use the proxy lists instead. all the images take too long to load and dont give off enough traffic anyways. I prefer text links with the proxy lists.
THanks The problem is your footer.png is fixed also, if put your Footer div at 300 Pixels then you will have open footer.png and also extend its height by copying and pasting a part of it like this, All I did there was copy the top part and pasted it over and over stacking it up higher. Get it the right height you want by doing that.
all I have done on my proxy is submit to a few directories and groups, and do some Y Answers everyday and am getting a steady $2.xx a day now off one site basically for 10 mins of work a day. not to bad for my $1 investment, pays for hosting and stuff, I got the ads blended in the best I can.
www.frendz.info - You can see what I mean, they're overflowing! Dollar, I took the file into Fireworks, edited it and reuploaded and it didn't make any difference.
Are you on about the proxies in your sig? If you are, then you better remove some adsense blocks, as you are only allowed 3 blocks per page.
I noticed that the less Adsense ad blocks that you have on your site the higher your earnings will be. Might try it on one of your sites and see it it works for you or not.
its because with one block, the highest bidding ads are shown, but with three blocks you have a mix of poorer ads and higher bidding ones but less adds less clicks most of the time i did a small test and noticed next to know difference but thats the theory behind it at least
