Something I am noticing is that on the test site the only place I have the term proxy is in the title. Now all the adsense link units are relevant to proxy sites however all the ad units have security type ads. Trial and error I suppose.
Proxy keywords produce security keyword ads which in turn leads to higher paying $ per click. The downside is any proxy containing proxy related keywords get banned from web filters within a few minutes its up online. A better suggestion would be to use words like firewall, security. These are keywords which are safe in web filter books yet at the same time they produce high paying clicks as well, something to think about
I am not so sure that many people will be interested in security ads. But better to test it out i suppose. Proxy lists. Groups, only if they are well moderated and have mostly proxy users [Instead of proxy owners].
Best ways i would say to promote are through proxylists. I have a list of 120 sites. If anyone want's it let me know. I'll send. I get some decent traffic from them alone

Does anyone have a list of sites where I can submit my proxies to for free without putting a link back to them in my site? I want to submit to a load of topsites but I don't have enough room on my website for all those backlinks lol.
You are right that not many people are interested in clicking on security ads, however getting just 3 clicks with over $5 for the 3 clicks is much better than getting 20 clicks with just $2 of revenue imo.
Hi everybody Sorry if already asked, but this thread is 500+ page long and I can't find the answer. I have a shared account at godaddy, and 2 proxy sites with approssimately 200/500 uniques/day on another host. Does Godaddy allow to set up proxy sites? Will I have any problems if I transfer them to my unlimited shared hosting on Godaddy? Thank you for your help
I think No, becuase proxy sites get abuse complaints. Which Goddady will not deal with. Remember that is someone uses your site for something bad you may have to be on the phone with FBI or other police services to hand over logs. Some hosts if they get this they freak out and just delete you right away and cancel your server.
