I"ve been using Adbrite for a year and never had issues such as this. Sorry for your luck. I think though it could be related to other people visiting your website threw a proxy. Its called proxy chaining, and its quite common practice amoung some of the other hardcore proxy users out there.
The adnetwork will see server IPs generating impressions and think there fraudulent. I have been blocking a wide range of popular datacenter IP ranges off my server for some time now in my .htaccess to avoid this issues.

That speaks why they sent you that email. I believe one of the sole reasons is because you are delivering them too much China traffic which do not convert and they often send such warning letters to webmasters who deliver traffic such as Chinese and Middle East traffic.

There are times Adbrite makes me more than Adsense, there are lots other networks that perform better. Adversal is the best for proxies though.

It is not a warning letter...They say my account is flagged and it does not show up anything..I have sent them a reply telling that i would cooperate with them except for the id thing...Why would they need my ids anyways..?Also adbrite does not show up any ads when user is from China,Turkey,etc...So i dont think thats the reason

I think Tech-faq is dead. The spamming has killed it.

How ? can u tell me what kind of spam it has got and how it has killed tech-faq? I will be careful with MWolk so such things don't happen though its very small in compared to tech-faq.

Will (tech FAQ owner) is a good friend of mine and he has put tons of effort into the site, I am sure if you guys pass the message to him, he will do something to it.

Hey, at one point remember finding a site to see if your proxy is blocked. My forum searching skills aren't up to par and I haven't been able to find it.

Can someone point me in the direction of a site that can do this?

I've tried http://www.websense.com/SupportPortal/SiteLookup.aspx but that requires you to sign up, which requires a key for websense.

    Thanks

Where's the best place to sell a proxy network? Proxies don't seem to be selling too well on DP anymore, and I wouldn't want to give them away for too little. Say I'm getting $90 per month from them, how much can I expect to get if I sell them?

is dead and my proxy business is dead too , was my main source of traffic, now i no longer make money with proxies. :( ( were good days when the admin approved them manually ) ... some proxy hosts closed my account one by one for the huge traffic and CPU usage, 90 % from tech faq, now i can handle the traffic with a normal shared host because i'm sure nobody cares.

Yahoo, Google Public Groups are dead too , because of one man, one man is behind all the spam, maybe 2 but this 2 distroyed everything... wish i go back in time :(

Most , i hate myself, i knew it all the time that one day will be over but was too late and i was and i am a fool because i'm not able to build a good proxy list.

Even the server of Kaung ( our friend ) could't handle the load , what days... but i was happy with all that CPU and Ram usage.

Subdomains are the problem. There are too many ways to abuse the site with subdomains and automatic submission.

If you "dare" to submit 1 - 2 proxies after you will come 10 subdomains and will take all the users, all your traffic. That's the problem.

You can't fight them, the only way is to use subdomains too.

When i made my 1st proxy i received over 10,000 impressions in one day from tech-faq, now only 200 impressions because of the subdomains. As i told, if approves them manually is better i think and no any subdomains, if co.cc or another subdomains are not allowed those shouldn't be allowed too.

Look at tech-faq right now, there is lots of subs in the list.
Goldrush is over I'm afraid. At the those days this is when Facebook was just opened to the public and started gathering alot of attention. what I did was using aardvark make a proxy list after proxy list and traffic would come instantly from google. Got up to $50/day before.
If you got in at that time it was quite amazing. Now you have to work hard if you want traffic. There is no room in serp anymore and those sites you see there now are over 1 year old probably. Like faceoxy.com thats from like 2007 in sept.

If you look back one or two pages a member makes a valid point. Why go to the enemy site and test your proxy? Rest assure they save the queries and then review them so by testing your site you are sure to get banned quicker. Best to find some younger people on the forum who can test it for you.

Might a be a service a kid could offer take a list of proxy sites and test them so they can report it to the owner.

Thanks, but I would still like to find a place to test sites. The purpose of my testing is not relevant to proxies.

I host a few customer sites on a server that also hosts proxies. A client of mine mentioned he heard someone say their site was blocked with websense. My assumption is they block based on IP address.

I wanted to test other sites on other IP addresses on my server to see if any are not blocked before I purchase another range of IPs for non proxy related customers.

Edit: If anyone is behind filtering software, such as Websense, please drop me a msg.

    Thanks

Just got an email letting me know I've nearly gone over my bandwidth for this month..

I just host two proxys on my server and I got the following email...?

    Allowed Usage: 2,000.00 GB
    Current Usage: 1,888.67 GB (94.43 %)

The proxys have only been online for 5 days.

I've had to suspend both accounts whilst I try and fix this problem..

Wonder if anyone could please help me try and fix this?
