I guess next thing you would notice is the weak server performance...
I hosted my proxy there for a month some time ago and the whole experience was a pure fail.

cloakhost have been in business for a longer time so their page is better indexed by Google but the good news end up there.

I'd recommend TechEntrance but the prices are a bit too high and the support is slow since it's actually just one person running a couple of hosting companies..

2 days ago I decided to put my dead proxy back online and picked Lacehost.com cause I liked the prices. I can say only good things so far - the speed seems impressive and stable. And the price is like 3 times cheaper than techentrance. I'm not related to lacehost in any way, the guy(s) actually is a competitor to my own hosting business  (of course I don't offer proxy hosting so I'm using his services).

Absolutely, this is probably the best thing that happened to proxy owners on DP. Kudos to all those who have helped make this thread a great resource for proxy webmasters.

    ^ true ^

BTW: I have some free advertising space for another review on the front page of proxy.biz
got 2 spaces as some of the proxies that were listed are now dead :) PM etc and I will stick them up today.
not even a backlink is required.

separate to this we have some space for listing proxies, again on the main ( front page ) if you want your site listed then please pm the link etc ( reciprical required ) and sorry, but we cannot list a site with the word "proxy" in the URL.

It is well worth signing up for other networks. I am having recent problems with adbrite so I am trying FOA and Canep now. Its should be well worth applying to quite a few networks in order to compare rates.

    Hi,
i want to make a proxy network (for now i start from 5 proxies) and i'm searching a good hosting. I was looking for a VPS, then i found on monsterprox.com the Monstrous Prox plan:
    Monstrous Prox
    Diskspace: 4000Mb
    Bandwidth: 100,000Mb
    Total Domains: Unlimited
    E-mail Accounts: Unlimited
    SubDomains: Unlimited
    MySQL Database: Unlimited
    Setup: Free!
    Monthly: $24.95
What do you think about? It's better if i buy directly a vps?

    Thanks a lot.

You should put something else in the passthrew in Adbrite. I use Globalinteractive as a passthrew...and yes right now the stats seem kinda off.

for all of those on shared hosts, please share your traffic stats and the price you currently pay

i would be interested in offering proxy hosting

after cutting out 99% of bullshit traffic from my server it is sitting pretty empty
