where can i get these plugin and are these free plugins?

 

You can get all the required Glype plugin on their own site glype.com. Look in their forum.

 

anyone know where i can get glye templates , ive looked in their forum but all the template look like crap or either dead downloadlinks tried google and no good templates . i like the templates that phproxy has but i dont know how to switch the template over to glype

 

You can try www.xytheme.com. Got a few selected templates there.

 

any of you use extreme tracking? Was wondering where I should put the code to track all pages in glype?

Just wondering...is the proxy business back? Is it worth it?

 

It will be a tough run if you didnt get your foot in the door early and get a group, subscribers and top site to promote your own sites. A lot of new proxy sites are reporting poor conversions and ad networks are acting bizarre these days and paying poorly for a good amount of people.

 

It's been a while since I've looked into the proxy scene. I know a lot of proxy scripts have come and gone, so what are the current top 3 scripts that most people are using these days?

 

phproxy still even though there is little support, glype, zelune and cgi are the popular free ones. Acio is my preferred one its sold by a DP member

Hi. I'm struggling promoting my proxy sites. I've purchased a script and got a proxy listing site up at pr3. Get's a couple hundred hits a day. Also wrote a custom listing script. Is this a good direction to go in promoting my sites? Just promoting the listing sites with my sites near the top or highlighted? I've added a subscription option on my custom site and managed to get about 5 subscriptions. Not very useful for promoting there.

I guess my question is, what other methods are there to get traffic? I'm leaning towards payed methods for decent traffic, rather than spamming newsgroups and yahoo answers.

The only way I'm making decent money now is by creating a pile of sites, I think I'm up to about 40 now, and getting minimal traffic on each (max of 500hits/day, avg about 100-200per proxy). Most traffic is coming from proxy.org right now, which is not ideal for my main promotional method.

Anyone have huge sites they're willing to sell, or trade links on? I have one proxy that is PR4, and I imagine after the next update I will have quite a few that are >PR2.

Nux your proxy listing site is the same like all the other sites... Seo some more

 

Proxy list sites are my preferred promotion method. List your proxy on all the good proxy lists. It's list and forget for the most part and works well for me.

 

little update - http://mwolk.com got PR4.. I better start spending some time on it now and hope people stop posting spam in the proxy submission form. I am working on making things more automated...

 

Does anybody have a list of the top 10 proxy lists to submit to.

Also how much traffic do people get at the weekend compared with during the week

Here is a list of a little over 100 proxy topsites just go through and see if any fit your needs.
