i don't agree, Adblock hurts more the economy than 6 - 9 hours not clicking ads at school or work where you go to learn , work not to surf the internet for x things, if nobody cares about Adblock used from home why should they care about the users from schools.

The value of the clicks is ok , not very low but under 0.20 , but i don't receive any clicks, from 3.000 impressions only 1 click , thats the problem.

Adblock is a user preference and its not forced on users without them knowing, if someone goes out there way to block ads, then probably it doesn' matter as they would never buy anything online anyways. I'm not one this people I buy stuff online sometimes from ads. ALthough I"m no fool I can spot a bullshit ad when I see it. :p

Anyway something strange happens... also i would like to thank you personally for the Geo Ip post in your blog + an old post in DP, helped me a lot to replace .htaccess and block some countries.

What will happen if 50 % of the people will use Adblock ?

Im receiving a ctr of 10% and higher now :)

Dont worry about the adblock, there is enough other traffic that will click.
And don't block countries through htaccess, if you take it seriously you won't get smart priced that quick! And some mid-east countries deliver many clicks :)

I have found that trying various affiliate programs has had some success. Still testing out though.

why not try the redirect that was given earlier in this thread. give them a 301 instead of an htaccess block. Wonder how that would work out with a redirect to say an Ivy league school home page :)

on a mission to name and shame all the shit companies i have had to deal with today

canepmedia being one of them, signed up last month then they stuff bombs out (NOTHING WORKED) and has the nice professional redirect to a "temp" subdomain on another random domain.

Over 30 hours ago i thought i would try them again, added another site which is "pending" how long does it take to activate it, emailed them maybe 20 hours ago, no reply.

    Useless.

Why do we put up with such shit service from so many companies.

On a lighter note, looking for more suggestions for CPM stuff for my proxied pages.
Adbrite is out of the question for me.

I also recieved the emails of sites submitted being removed. The sites are not even mine.
ANyways that techfaq is full of spam hell look at the domains in the new proxy list.
Yesterday I think went threw and 3/5 of the site redirected to Sedo. There doing a switch n Bait. first submit the proxy so it has the backlink so it passes the check, the switch to Sedo.
There probably dumping their expiring domains into there. Tech-faq needs to improve their application against such. maby a rating system for user to giving the proxies thumbs up or down to bury it if its spam.
