Are there any proxy list script others than the following listed? http://www.proxylistscript.com/ http://www.proxypromo.com/ http://www.proxyniche.com/
Depending the the type and origin of traffic, some affiliate program may work well. Free offers and signups, ringtones, dating affiliates etc usually work with most of the proxy traffic.
Adsense is no longer good for proxies ? i don't make anything , most i earned yeasterday under 0,15 cents , I changed 3 times the template in less than 1 week, i made it "special" and nothing... over 1.500 impressions daily, no earnings. I think the users don't see the ads ? probably i should choose a different network for the main page ?
Should be an explanation, the earnings dropped very much, i'm still waiting for more opinions, for you ( in general for all ) is better ? how this season started for you ?
Adsense can temporarily( or permently) "smartprice" one or more of your domains. I often go a week or so with $2/$3/$4 a day from proxies, and then WHAM!, just cents for the next week or so. Best way to combat it is not to have all your eggs in one basket, and use more than one ad network, that way your less vulnerable to this sort of thing.
i'm not smartpriced, i have the ctr really bad, not eCPM, how i said i think they don't see them, is impossible not see them if you don't have something to block the ads. Can be this the next weapon of the internet filtering companies ? to block the ads and distroy the proxy business ? less work for them and better internet filtering services ? Without ads the proxy business will die... why block the proxies one by one when you can distroy their source of income, what keeps them alive ?
Internet filtering companies just categorize sites and provide a way to network admins to block a whole catgory or categories of sites. Its up to network admins to decide whom they want to block. They may block proxy sites as well as internet ads ads or other categorized sites if they want to.
They don't advertise their IP's, do they? But, even if we can get an accurate list of their IP's (which is not possible in itself), they are not the only filtering company.
It seems so, I blocked their IPs yesterday and my traffic dropped completely today. Can somebody using internet at school check if http://www.secretipaddress.com is blocked or not?
That would nonesense, there are far better way to battle proxies then block ads. With blocking ads their already hurting other websites and the internet at large as with the economy. Advertising is a billion dollar business, proxies are not the only sites that suffer loss of revenue in the summer its no doubt that schools and business play a large part in internet traffic threwout the day increasing profits and generating the economy, to block all ads in there filter by default would be far stupid of an idea.
But why should people click ads from school and work ? if they don't have the right to access some of the websites + the websites they are allowed to visit are too serious to have ads, blocking the ads from school and work will hurt proxies the most, not educational sites... or companies, newspapers, university websites.
If they put to block ad by defualt it would hurt the economy. Then websense and bluecoat etc. would have many angry people beating on their door. Maby if you worried why your Adsense revenues are down maby read this http://gowest.blogs.fortune.cnn.com/2008/07/17/google-its-the-economy-stupid/
