    Hiya

I havent been on here for months and now im thinking of getting back into proxys. I had 100s at one point.

Now i cant be bothered to read through all these posts so was wondering if you guys could help me out! :D

    Just got a few questions:

Firstly is what are the main forms of generating revenue. Whats best for the main page and the proxified. Whos best for hosting and is there any people offering automated free hosting in exchange for there ads on the proxified pages. By this i mean where they have a control panel where you just type your domains and adnsese id in and point it to there nameservers then its all set up. Someone was offering it back when i used to but aint sure if its still offered now.

Also is there any great ways of advertising that dont include topsites, link exchanges and facebook.

    Thanks in advance :D

Main question for me is are there any new proxy scripts ?
I would love to have a script that generates a static html file for every visited site so that popular sites can be cached and other sites will be indexed by google = more traffic

Is there a script that could do that ?

If you guys want some FREE traffic I will be sending out the proxy newsletter again!! About 250 people looking for proxies !
Just signup at http://myspaceproxies.in .. which is a PR2 btw so you will earn a PR2 backlink as well :D

Will send it out on friday probably so there is still time..

I don't use zelune, so I probably cant help you out.

Just browse your index in notepad, and try to find the spot below the java script options etc.

in phproxy it's in the 1100+ line, so it's quite hard to find I guess..

I've got 3-4 questions and would be really grateful to anyone who could answer:

    1) When are schools in the US/UK starting again?

    2) What monetization strategy works the best nowadays? Still the same old AdVersal for proxified pages and AdSense on the homepage?

    3) WHat promotion methods work effectively? Posting to Yahoo Groups, MySpace bulletins and topsites right?

    1. First week of september
    2. Adversal is hard to get in these days, but they work fine yes. If you cant get in, try canep media or mediashakers.
    3. SEO works really good, but requires a lot of work and backlinks. I would pay people with big email lists to get traffic.

Do you earn a lot with pay per play? Share us your results

It depends on whether you are wanting long term traffic or short term traffic, targeted traffic or traffic in general.

If you want long term traffic then SEO is definitely the answer, through targeting 4-5 certain highly searched keywords with low competition you can increase your traffic and ensure you have a stable amount of daily traffic. You can read and learn how to SEO your proxy site here.

Secondly if you are looking for short term traffic which is targeted, Yahoo groups are great as well as Google groups obviously ones which have been created for proxy sites. Also yahoo answers in the past have been very effective for me however they seem to be focusing on getting rid of people trying to advertise proxy sites.

If you just want traffic and any kind will do then stumble upon and Digg work very well, so do social networking sites and social bookmarking sites.

    Hope this helps.

Also if you need any other information on Proxy sites you can read my Proxy eBook. Free to download.

The eBook or SEO Tutorial for Proxy sites, either way they are both aimed at beginners. The SEO for proxy sites, is definitely aimed for new comers to web developing because i feel (hope this is not too much of a stereotype) but the average proxy owner especially when seeking advice and tips is a newcome to web developing. I started of with proxy sites when i first owned websites and started to learn about internet marketing and i feel SEO can become quite complex so the basics should be learnt and understood first.

However secondly i felt i may as well not go in to too much detail considering i would just be repeating what is already on my website in other articles and tutorials.

    Thanks for reading,

    Will.
