Thank you guys for the answers. I will work around with zelune and phproxy for now and after glype will make v1 i will try it.

Another question i just bought a server.

Form Factor Blade Processor Xeon 2.8 GHz
Processors Qty. 2
Installed Memory 2G (DDR SDRAM)
I also have an unlimited transfer 20 Mb up and down.

How many proxies do you think i can stick on this one?

i will only put 10 proxy at that kind of spec server coz i don't want the server to be crowded with proxy thus affecting the performance of the proxy + i will use separated IP for each proxy to prevent banning

 

That server can easily whole around 20-25 high traffic proxies with Iran and China blocked of course

You have a nice server friend, and alot of memory. I hope you have someone optimized apache for you so your server might run smoothly.

If you can, and are comfortable with it, try to use lxadmin instead of cpanel. lxadmin by default comes with lighttpd which is perfect for proxy sites. In addition, lxadmin uses a fraction of the memory that cpanel uses. so, as you can see, its a win-win situation... the only problem is that the interface is slightly cumbersome and might take some getting used to if you are not already familiar with it.

also, try to get a SSD hard drive or a western digital raptor. this will speed up the overall process of serving the proxified page to the end user

I submitted my proxy to a few good topsites and now i'm getting a good 750 UV daily! I'll post a list of the topsites i used.

I'm running a quad core xeon 3220, with 2gig of ram.
I'm only running apache on the server, I plan to throw on a mail server aswell though.
Just wondering what kind of settings I should have in my apache.conf? Such as maxservers,startservers,min, those settings, and than maxclients.

thats almost impossible if your own proxy site was not having a good traffic before
also topsites are not doing well these days

 

Yeah, only mwolk.com and proxy.org and azproxies.com are sending good traffic to my proxies, that's kinda all I think
