You should shut that site off, your aiding in the trashing of the market with the spam vehicle you've created. You even have ready to go template with adsense,
Now there proxy listing sites indexing this spam proxies, really not cool man.

I still dont get why every one is so negative towards the Embed Proxies guy

jep, submit your proxies there. Really nice traffic!

 

How many hits do you get per day from that site?

 

don't really remember, because I sold that network of proxies a while ago. But I think like 300+ visits a month which is better than all the other topsites I used.

 

$5 for a pr2 .info with a short/easy to remember name. Expires on the 8th. I have the namecheap window open but I'm not sure if want to renew and focus on other stuff or go ahead and get it for another year lol

 

Thats not much if you ask me. My proxy gets more than 600 visits from my toplist.

 

I don't think PR 2 domain will give more traffic than PR 0 domain

 

Don't mate
Try to sell it, or just let it go...

Reason: PR2 = Older domain (most of the times ) = blocked by many firewalls, universities etc

Hi all, anyone know how to stop hackers using our proxies to blast emails used in / for phishing? -

I come home from work today & my site is now blacklisted by netcraft

I also just got the following email from my host

xxx was notified of a serious AUP related to your server with IP address xxxx

We have report for an ebay phishing page hosted on your server.
The malicious files are located at the following URL:
http://.com/index.php

Please make sure the URL is removed and you have checked your server for compromised scripts/binaries.
Please reply to this email to verify the issue is addressed.

I use modified phproxy with shit loads of hotlinking mods / blocks and i also run on a dedicated linux server with the following firewall settings

x blocks all email "in" and "out"
x restricts all "in" traffic
x blocks most of china

HELP please any advice appreciated

 

i run with the mail function off , no mails in or out from the server

Same here thats what winding me up.... i have disabled all mails in or out of server via my firewall settings.....

I have been in touch with my server hosting support & they are on the case - i think.

I've checked my proxy files for possible hacker modifications - but they seem ok - (i ran a comparison with sourcegear diffmerge)

Stumped! - hope my hosting techs come up with something otherwise i may have to move hosting.....

they said he uploaded a page on your server used for pishing eBay , don't understand how is possible if the users don't have access

 

Well. i think it was a standard email they sent to me. Maybe when they receive a warning from "netcraft"

My hosting techs have checked the index.php - and found no problems (i have checked also) - but my domain is blacklisted by netcraft as a phishing site - will have to see how this pans out

Ya tech-faq is really good. The reason this site is succesfull at sending traffic is I think is becuase its not just a proxy listing site. Its a computer website that happens to have a proxy list on it. The site has alot of non-proxy related content on it, so if you were a sys admin you would never know that the site has proxy list on it unless you examined it further. You would think its just computer site that people are visiting.
If anyone reading this had a popular non-proxy related site with lots of content putting a proxy list on it would be great way to generate more traffic and revenue and at the same time it would be under the radar.
