Alright I just uploaded the most current glype script and tried it out. I like how fast it is but when I go to this one forums and try to view a thread I receive a 404 error.

Here is the forum: arenaladders.com/forums and when you click to view any thread it changes the look of the page and then gives 404 error. Does anyone know a fix or way around this?

top_lists_site.com remove the underscores. Also this isn't going to be the domain name of the proxy, I just don't feel like buying a new domain at the moment.

I enabled the youtube plugin and then lost contact with my vps, lol
I didn't realize that my sites would be serving the movies themselves.
Make sure you have the resources available before you do this

How much bandwidth do most proxies take up in a given month? I know it all depends on traffic, but what is some peoples averages?

    lot's
I does depend on traffic, also the config options that you choose for your script.
plugins , allowed file size etc. Also the countries that you allow.
(eg China will eat up your bandwidth watching porn if you let them)

I'm only new to this, I had five sites and a shared plan with 25gb
That only lasted me two weeks.
So I moved to an unmetered VPS.

Some people apparently use up to 500g per month for just one proxy!

Think it would be safe to assume "most" dont use much as there are so many new ones making up the most. I dont think there is a set standard to go by mine has only used "Bandwidth (MB) 359415" so far this month :)

    I've got one with wdservers
    wdservers
It would be reliable if I knew what I was doing ;)
I'm pretty sure it's unmetered, The speed is restricted depending on the plan you choose. mine is 10 Mbps.
3000gb bandwidth (I think thats how much you could squeeze though if you maxed it out 24/7)

Well if they click on my ads I wouldn't mind the traffic. But what is the best way to block them? I have some ideas but not sure.

Also are hosts like bluehost.com that offer unlimited space and bandwidth even good?

DMK I would have a look at what people are doing on your proxy sites and also look at the location and source of the traffic you are receiving as that could be expensive on your hosting :D

That particular server is a high spec dedicated box on an unmetered account in the same data centre used by WDServers.

I would say 55gig a day is fairly average for a server hosting proxies, I have spare capaticy. There’s higher capacity proxy servers out there.

And yes, I already have all of the middle east and china blocked
