Definitely it's possible lol. But there's no point really..Your proxies would just get blocked by web filters..But again there are some schools which do not really have that advanced web filters so you would still get some traffic.
I SEO the proxies with word proxy in the domain name. For others there are some other ways to get traffic. Both approaches do have pros & cons.
Lets say my proxy has been blocked by schools and other establishments. Does it mean I can't earn anything at all now? DoI have to use another domain name and start all over again?
Itgirl - I have proxies that are blocked by schools - you are not blocked by every school - work on seo and expand your audience
You can't earn if you don't have traffic, So if you are blocked in some places but are still getting a decent flow of traffic then who cares
I would put that figure more in the arena of <5% making $100 a day or more. I used to be in that top five but alas it is no longer. Oh, and I recently added a new post on proxy builder giving you a list of the largest proxy Yahoo/Google groups for free traffic.
Whats the best proxy template to use? I have found really complicated ones that didn't work that great with my ads. I am looking for a simple one with great click ratios.
Hi All - Just a side note here, if you are looking for some well established proxy domain names, I have several I am clearing out as my server is overloaded. Please see the below thread if interested. Thanks! http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=854579
I wouldn't waste time with SEO for proxies, but thats just me. Submit your site to this PR3 Proxy List for free! http://www.proxyheaven.net/
Hmm yeah < 5% might seem more accurate, I placed the figure higher to 10-15% as I do not have any statistics to prove. Making $100 a day on proxies is not hard at all. Personally I am using about 7-8 Ad networks to achieve that. Sure, I think I will start writing it during the next 3 months of summer vacation. You will be the first to know once it's out I have seen a friend of mine using an "ugly" proxy template that has the background in black with the proxy URL box in black too, only the words and ads were green or white if I remember correctly. And I was told that that template brought in about 20% CTR. You can give it a shot
i have one co.cc but i don't use co.cc for serious sites , i prefer to have the control of my sites. My opinion was a general one
made a new proxy listing directory linked to a myspace site yest...put in your proxies and i'll accept them asap www.directory.myspacecustomise.com
