no, i'm not retiring . maybe others , i keep the proxies i have and but i will not launch new sites, but i will see later what decision to take exactly , now this is what i think

 

Like i was thinking of coming up with 20 new proxies, So you suggest me that shall i get on with them or shall i wait for some time till schools and collages are back in action and then launch my proxies?

 

FWIW. I'd design the sites and get them ready but keep them offline until after summer. Look around for link exchanges and ways to promote them as soon as summer arrives.


Wouldn't you just hate to have them all blocked before summer was over?

Still wondering how proxy site make money as usually visitor only use the proxy function not click the ads

 

Myspace, bebo aren't very good paying keywords, may help you in geting SE traffic.

 

Do it before so they'll be spread around already.

 

Try blocking Iran. Try changing content. Wait for miracle $2 clicks

 

Proxy users do other things as well. That's why we have 350 page thread here

I'm really happy with my hosting, but not the fact that I can't update my awstats , I've got to wait for it to update.

I've added popunders as well a couple of days ago, so I want to see how much traffic they are costing me.

I have been looking at the proxy advertisers ( as opposed to publisher data )

it seems anything with proxy / myspace / unblock keyword phases are now not being wanted at all.

combined with abrite it seems okay - i got one proxy that pays about 10c for 20 clicks now - where it was getting 25c for 1 click 6 months ago ( 4 year old proxy )

I don't know about you guys but I always get .20 -$2 a click. But I don't plaster my ads all over the place. I put the url bar in plain view and puts ads in a way that if someone will only click on it if their interested. Not by accident. This way I managed a high click to conversion ROI% so I'm not smartpriced. I have proxy that gets 1,500 people comming to it day and I'm lucky if I only get 1-5 clicks a day from it. But each one is usually $1 a click.

I get ads about proxy filters, firewalls, and web proxies/vpn

 

Ads for firewalls and vpn are usually high paying.

 

If you have cPanel you dont need to wait the 24hours
Goto :File Manager
Then go to the home folder you will see tmp folder open it then go to the awstatts folder and open it. Look for the file awstats.yoursite.com.conf choose to edit this file then look for this line AllowToUpdateStatsFromBrowser=0 change it to AllowToUpdateStatsFromBrowser=1 then you will have the update stats link in your awstats until the system auto updates then it changes the 1 back to a 0

I am looking to launch a proxy network of 10 sites. I am planning to expand it to 500 sites network if I succed. What kind of hosting would I need? Please give me some suggestion on choosing the domains.
