Having a bit of a problem, my server has gone over the 2000GB bandwidth with just one wesite www.proxyhamster.com. What do I do now? I'm paying $0.10 for every GB I use and It's using 150+GB a day.

Any ideas guys?

 

Tell them you're under maintenance and drive them to another proxies that you own to divide the traffic.

 

ya get a server with a Unmetered port. Get a colocated server, or find a reseller of a datacenter that can rent you one.

 

My billing date is the 12'th of next month, If I put a maintence page there of course they are going to get bored of it soon and I'll loose all of them.

(Don't have another proxy as of yet).

 

Get a template that doesn't have so much graphics.. just a thought.

you should have more than 5.000 - 10.000 visitors / day for that bandwidth, be sure someone is not stealing your bandwidth, 150GB / day is just a huge amount of bandwidth, i never used such an amount even when i had youtube and myspace videos enabled

 

i think from september, is my first summer with proxies but the traffic and earnings will drop more than 50 - 90 % for sure , i think the entire summer will be like an usual Sunday, hope i'm wrong ...

There is your problem! There probably all surfing pron download tons of pron images and videos and abusing your site.

 

hi guys.. anyone has knowledge abt PHPproxy here? I am trying to add a small piece of code just before PHPproxy downloads the files on its server. I want to add it so that I can restrict some websites and i want phpproxy to check for them before downloading.

can anyone help me out?
