Hey guys, I just launched www.bubso.com which is my first proxy with a proper valid ssl certificate, and a proxy.org tier 1 listing. Pretty stoked...

 

Very nice, I like it. Why did you get a SSL Certif for though?

 

i think i should use adbrite + adsense on the main page too , from what i understood it's allowed ( no full page ads )

 

cause its too difficult for filtering softs to block SSL certified pages

and for this i also have SSL on all my proxies

as i know you have bought the SSL certification from equifax co.
may i ask how much you paid and for how long?!
dose it make your proxy to load a bit slower?!

It's just a RapidSSL certificate from NameCheap, and it was $14.88. I could have got it a bit cheaper by digging around for a crappy reseller, but I just preferred to keep it with one of the bigger players just in case I needed any kind of support, and I already had a few domains with them too...

 

Hmm..any of you bychance using glype and turn your "encode index" on? If you do that, google cannot crawl into your site and thus the data cannot be transmitted.
