i think i agree with this opinions, those who fight against proxies tell the people something like "proxies are not secure, don't use them" , so i think we must respect people's privacy and their rights to choose free what they want or not

Yeah, I have gotten some really weird messages from people. Some like it though and will ask for proxies and stuff.

 

To be honest I often get mixed reactions from this, but the positives far outweigh any real negatives.

It's gotten to the point that if I stop sending bulletins out for even a day, I get bombarded with messages asking where their new proxy is, when can they get online, exclamations of grief and how they'll die if they can't get on myspace in 3rd period tomorrow, etc...

those that message me and say they don't want to be friends, i remove, block and they never are again. easy...

there's even a picture of my cat in my profile that has more comments than my avatar

 

LOL I run a proxy mailing list and I get loads of messages like that .

 

the irony is that some of these kids really need to spend more time studying at school than on myspace... here's a couple of quotes from today...

"hey thanks for the proxy u send as man"
"'hey will you start sending the proxys in messages to me man thanks and the proxys work great"
"im making a new acount add me"
"thanx for the proxies!!!!!!!!!!!"
"i really appreciate these proxys. school board is killer in blocking these but they never seem to block yours. =] thanks again"
"yoo.. guud luking for the proxys.. but they startin to block everything.. can u step up the proxys to not make them block"

so yeah, these people are REAL broken up about being on my myspace...

 

Any real negatives... as in, the fact that it's completely illegal?

Even if it does benefit a majority as you claim, it doesn't give you the right to invade the privacy of the (supposed) minority that don't want to be added.

 

What are the best ways to advertise proxies? I have like 20 proxies, and some are doing really well while the others don't get much traffic.

 

So, I bought a proxy and I transfered the domain yesterday...I unlocked it and added it to my hosting; then I changed the domain names; but it doesn't work.

It says it can't find the server, I don't know what's going on.

Anybody know what I could do?

 

how much you earn with 20 proxies..I have a lot of proxy networks
one 9 proxy network (sold today), one 19 proxy network...and other..
my good month was 500+ from 6-10 proxies ( i talk about 19 proxies network)
so..any proxies earn well .the rest no..i think it is because domain names
About promotion...google yahoo groups.Did you try it?

I earn on average about $8 a day from them, but a lot of that comes from 1 proxy which is doing particularly well.

About Google and Yahoo Groups. Have you got a big list I can use?

 

which is the best paid service offered here for proxy promotion. i don't really are for a single email/newsletter balst. looking for something that lasts alittle more.

I am hosting my proxies with GoDaddy, is that ok?

And second, what do you guys recommend on the surfing page? I currently have two of the small AdBrite banners, should I just put one big one? Or what about another kind?

How to spend less and build more proxies ? first time i told you about the free domains co.cc, now i will tell you about free subdomains for those who don't know .

i know one but they dont allow proxies , they have disabled PHProxy script on their host but Zelune works fine there
i think they are ok with Zelune as it wont use that much BDW
