also keep in mind initially you may face no profit or even some out of pocket during expansion/acquirung new server but once settled, profit will roll in again. Patience help alot during those expansion "era"

    no problem mate

yeah, bought a third server within 2 month..lol..
But only one is specially for proxies.
Fork out a lot to buy them not to mention being scammed twice last month.
Like a saying..to make money, first you have to spend money..

proxy site niche is never saturated since the demand for new proxies increases daily. So it is all about "generation". Old generaton got blocked, new generation comes in and there are spots all the time for many to join in.

and as dondon has pointed out competaton is everywhere and proxy is where all enduring competors are rewarded always unlike in other niches where only the biggest guys always win.

    Saturated, yes.
But to decide its not worth of trying is not right. Like kaung said, proxy keep on regenerate as the old one get blocked. So, no issue of too saturated here.

But sad to see too many people build a proxy site overnight, and flip them the next day for 2 or even 6 month revenue.

Yeah the real thing that is saturated is proxy site flipping.
but then reasonable, if the price is right, buyer can build up.

Just need to take precaution of not acquiring the banned proxy.

lol...most proxy network sold on DP has "proxy" words in it..I wonder if these site are not being blocked.
And still people bought it hoping to earn twice as much if not as advertised. ;)

For me, it is better to build one on my own, submit to a couple of quality listing site, and avoid checking the site status on webfilter website..since they do keep a log and have scheduled log review. :)

Better off creating a new site because by the time the proxy is making a small profit they usually grab the attention of the filtering companies and are blocked.

Just curious... were you scammed off of proxy sites?

Have you tested this out yourself... I made a fake site with no visitors and submitted it to websense's checker and I never got a visits from anyone on that site.

    That's what I said.. :D
Even if you promote the proxy to millions of bulletins, it will be blocked as it has proxy word in it.

    Try this...

    KeepAlive On
    MaxKeepAliveRequests 100
    KeepAliveTimeout 1
    MinSpareServers 20
    MaxSpareServers 60
    StartServers 60
    MaxClients 200
    MaxRequestsPerChild 1000

Once your hitting maxclients, you can bump it up as long as you have free ram.
