That script you could probably make yourself. That is if you know about abit about and are learning PHP. Doesn't look that complicated. Actually I might say its a http://proxylistscript.com/ script that has been gutted out and changed.
As a successful proxy network manager I am considering publishing a hard-copy proxy business guide (perhaps 25 ~35 printed pages)... everything from starting up to maintaining traffic and increasing revenues. If I was to do so would there be interest in a physical hard-copy guide? And if you would be interested what would be a reasonable asking price? I know personally I like having hard copy guides sometimes, so I'm wondering how others feel about the idea.
give 1-2 free copies to long term members sell first 5 for some % off. and set the later price to $15-$25 depending on how well you think you have written and reviews.
He's not talking about an ebook. He means something along the lines of 'building a proxy network for dummies' book.
I am going to do some testing on allowing all countries to go on my proxies, no limitations, i will report on here how it does, how much bandwidth was user etc...
I know but the only way he'll make profit will be in online communities or proxy commnities or proxy tea parties? why? mainly because to publish a book, print out and promotion fees will ruled over the income he'll receive afterwards. normal poeple wont just go to bookstore to buy a proxy guide..as in there wont be enough people. He can only based on word of mouth if he gave a review or smaple to his colleague or someone interested in proxies (most are online). Many dont wish to keep searching on even a 1 page thread or even a 3 posts thread so for sure who's interested will buy his hard-copy book where everything is under table of contents for faster reference (hopefully)
if you have server you can use mod_geoip to redirect users from say china, iran, etc... to a page with advrite or cpm ads on homepage. because if you receive too many impression on adsense from nonconverting, or invalid click countries your adsense earnings can be lowered (smart priced) to put it simple. Well if you keep getting too many invalid clicks for months, you're risking your account but most likely you will jsut get smart priced. As far as I know, once smart-priced, your whole adsense got effected meaning ads on proxies, forums or any site you own will earn low. so best option redirect them to proxy homepage with no adsense but other ad.
oh ok...is there any way to get our of being smartpriced once your smartpriced? and can u help me setup this redirection? and also what countries should be redirected other then china and iran?
Good news proxy partnerships! Ads from two diff publisher id on same page now stand valid with adsense http://www.jimkarter.com/2008-02-27-new-google-adsense-policy-change.html#comment-62341 Still confirm it before using!
Just use glype and then you can have unique URLs. Way better than just a different encoding. I don't understand why people still use PHProxy. Glype is so amazing!
Fortiguard Web Filter is shoot to kill. They rated my youtube download site AND my Firefox site (nothing do with Proxies) as "proxy avoidance" Just becuase its on my same IP as the proxies albiet. I'm interested to know how they find sites and classify them. As ther are a few sites they haven't rated yet that have been a few months on the server with proxies while some other ones (like the firefox site) get ranks as proxy avoidance.
They monitor sites that are visited by people who are using them. They also have certain partners that report to them. Also sites that have words proxies in source are banned in a day - maximum. Those sites that are still there for months are bypassing the filter, just like Happy Proxy.
While my youtube download and firefox site heavly linked from my proxies. (For easy backlinks) But there not proxies. Lightspeed identifies these sites as Computers & Internet while fortiguard thinks there proxies. lol ....fortiguard is wrong... I better mail all there stock holders and tell them how shitty there filter is. lol! They rated my nameserver domain as gambling.
